Marsh's magnificent hat trick makes it an unhappy return for Kelly - History
at 18:03 17 Mar 2023

October 17th 1970 was the day I got married at St Stephens, Ashchurch Grove so missed the match. The first we knew of the result was going to Askew Road between the ceremony and the reception and picking up a Classified.
Almost 53 years later still a season ticket holder and more importantly still married.

I think 30 minutes was about par for the course, only after he had the cash up front of course. Regrettably he did not play any minuets that night.

second chances
at 16:56 7 Dec 2015

Have seen Samba play twice for the U21's in the last few weeks including todays 1-0 defeat by Charlton. Against Ipswich two weeks ago he was the stand out player by a mile. Playing just in front of the back four he ran the game and put in a number of surging runs as well. A very sound performance today. Seems to have curtailed most of his 'aggressive tendencies'. In my view well worth a place on the bench.

Col Donaldson
at 18:51 17 Mar 2015

I was at Harlington today. Col Donaldson played a full 90 minutes and played well, as he did a couple of weeks ago when I saw him. First time Doughty has played for a while and he did well including taking his goal. Grego-Cox was relatively quiet by his standards. Kranjcar put in a full 90 minute shift. Easy for an experienced player to treat these games lightly but to his credit he got very involved and bossed the middle. The outstanding player for me was Cole Kpekawa at left back. Had already had a very good game when he got up front in the 85th minute to lob the keeper for the winner.

Mick Hartford was watching the U21's at Harlington today. But am sure it is just a coincidence.

Really just a training outing. Couple of times showed strength on the ball as he should against kids. But as I said Brentford far superior.

Just back from Harlington. Donaldson played first half. 1-0 down at half time..penalty. 1-4 final score totally outplayed by Brentford. Sandro on for final 30 minutes.

ok who would you choose as manager ?
at 11:21 12 Jan 2015

Not a fan of manager merry go rounds and until the last couple of weeks would have settled for Redknapp to see out the season. But the dropped points v Palace and Swansea, the debacle v Sheffield Utd and the fact that Palace and Albion are picking up under new management make me think again.
But, the thought of Colin returning leaves me cold. As I said on here before Redknapp's appointment I would welcome a pairing of Clive Allen and Les Ferdinand. We need managers with the club in their soul and would rather see someone forging a career than propping one up.

Massive overreaction from today's game
at 13:09 22 Dec 2013

For me, no better nor worse than most of our performances this year. We just lost 1-0 rather than won 1-0 because their boy put the chance away and ours didn't. It had to happen sometime.

If you could choose one of the following for this season which would it be?
at 18:20 13 Nov 2013

I was at Wembley in 1967, 1982 and 1986 was also at our first ever first division game when the football world was very different. Although I have to admit that being in the prem is the thing for 'the money men' for me it takes all of a second to say the cup.

Would only be happy with Redknapp if he brought Clive Allen and Les Ferdinand from his Spurs coaching squad and handed over to them whether he keeps us up or not.
