We'll be 10th or 11th tomorrow.
Those next six games all look winnable to me, but realistically we'll lose to the first team that's on its game. These runs (winning and losing) happen in the Championship all the time - Oxford's record over the last eight games is the same as ours while Blackburn have won one and lost five. |

I have zero insight into the methodology of the bookies' actuaries, but as you say, it makes no sense today. Maybe there's still weighting from money in the market from earlier in the season. |

Pro tennis players are probably getting longer breaks between tournaments, though, and they run around 2km per match as opposed to 10km for footballers. So not really a valid comparison. |

Uninterested, a rare example of correct usage in place of the more usual incorrect disinterested.
Disinterest means having a lack of personal involvement or being unbiased or impartial. Uninterested is not being arsed, ie what is normally intended in the context of football. |
