Following the defeat by Aston Villa, the Southampton squad headed to Dublin for their Christmas party, & despite their struggles, spirits were high on night one of the two-night trip, with the evening’s celebrations taking place in fancy dress #saintsfc@TheAthleticFC
If youre not happy with the situation at #SaintsFC then i suggest you dont spend money on food, drink and retail. Keep your local boozers alive and stay out of the wanky fanzone this Sunday and onwards.
Martin on boos from supporters: “Ultimately everyone just wants to win. I think if they take a step back, you see a team that is really trying, really competitive at moments. Everyone has their frustration with losing regardless of the style of play.” #saintsfc [amazon]
There was a chance to get rid of it. Southampton Football Club didn’t vote against it. There can be no moaning about it then.
‘Premier League clubs have voted by 19-1 in favour of keeping video assistant referees (VAR) next season. Wolves triggered a vote on the use of VAR in the 2024-25 season after formally submitting a resolution to the Premier League in May. In order for VAR to be scrapped, 14 of the 20 Premier League clubs needed to vote in favour of doing so. But only Wolves voted in favour of the proposal as they failed to gain any support from other top flight clubs.’

We have a Championship level manager who is an upgrade on the last two who are now in League 1. Downes, KWP (who has been dropped) and Ramsdale aside we have a team of Championship level players.
Let’s not forget if the Feyenoord keeper had passed his medical we wouldn’t have Ramsdale.
