Can I nominate the Preston keeper after yesterday’s injury following their team’s red card?I know the ref can’t whether a player is genuinely injured or not,but he was definitely taken in by his antics yesterday, and I’m glad it came back to bite him on the a@se.Good to see our players pour his water away too. Just a shame that we didn’t score in the added time that his cheating created, but I’ll take the points anyway. |

Apart from Arsenal’s 2nd goal against Palace which looked offside on the replays. |

He played for palace for 3 years after he left us.Then he played 30 odd games for Spurs and a few other teams and finished his career at Millwall. He was appointed manager of Corinthian casuals, but left in December 23. He even won 1 England cap while at palace. [Post edited 20 Dec 19:13]

Stroud will in charge of our matches. |

Vargas was never played in his rightful position though was he?Ledesma was another one who didn’t play his best for us.Nor did Parejo, which considering the career he went on to have was strange, but he was only a youngster when he joined us. |

We’re only football fans and therefore we don’t count. |

It was a location in Auf wiedersen pet when someone was making a phone call from there.I can’t remember if it was series 1 or 2 though. It was when Neville and Dennis bail out McGowan in series 1,episode 9. Loftus road was used when Oz is supposed to be driven home to Newcastle after getting drunk with the Sunderland fans in an earlier episode. [Post edited 18 Dec 16:21]

I used to go that way occasionally, but it’s such a bottleneck after the games that I haven’t been that way in a while.Something to do with idiots having a crafty slash while going that way and abusing the residents who pull them up about it. |

Unfortunately I might’ve been a factor in his demise as I once called him Marcus Bignott as he was walking down the stairs at Loftus Road. |

And no Leeds fans booing him either. |

A cocked Gunn in the tunnel this time rather than in the boardroom. |

Should be lively on the 29th then.I wonder where Ashley Barnes will go if he scores? |

I’ve got the first day at Lords on the 10th so I doubt if I’d make it back in time from the Netherlands game anyway. I also managed to get two more for the QF in Zurich on the 17th,which would involve England if we finished as runners up in our group. |

They were all sold out last night according to the website. The stadium in Zurich only holds 24k and St Gallen is only big enough for 18k. |

I managed to get a pair of tickets for England’s opening game against France in Zurich for July, and the flights aren’t too bad either. The big expense though is accommodation in the city for my daughter and me. I’ve had a quick look at alternatives, but the game won’t finish until 11pm so the choices are limited. Is it always this expensive in Switzerland,or are they just bumping up the prices even more? And does anybody know of any cheaper, more affordable options for a night out? |
