 | Forum Thread | Was it a try at 14:54 23 Feb 2025
If they had said that Ellis Mee no try was because his arm was in touch before the ball was grounded I could have accepted that but I thought the grounding was OK, no separation and there was downward pressure, the point of the 'rugby' ball was short but as the ball toppled forward he kept his hand and pressure on it. England in their match then get a try that looked held up and the ref didn't even go upstairs to check, such are the small margins between winning and losing. |

Wales isn't defenceless, an independent Wales can look after its own defence just like other small nations do. |
 | Forum Reply | How did this get missed at 13:49 23 Feb 2025
Wales depends on England for its defence you say ....hmm and I don't support the IRA per se, no English or Irish in me butt, just call things as I seem them all sides did bad things but one side had a cause and the otherside didn't, simples. |

I haven't found the squaddies guilty, not sure about the powers that be mind you. They can call themselves what they like its ran by the English, English mps say do this and that and that is what happens. |

Well I remember the vote in Parliament to put our boys boots on the ground in Iraq ( I think it was ) and all the mps literally to a man and woman representing constituencies in Ireland, Scotland and Wales voted against war with the majority of mps in England voting for war, it was the only time I can remember the weight of English mps not getting their way, as the army do the bidding of the government which in nearly every instance is the bidding of English mps. Our prime minister had to tell the president of the United States we would not be joining them as he could not go against the will of Parliament. So in that sense most of the time it is a de facto English army. |

Bad things happen when good people don't do anything, we arm, encourage and back Israel when we should be telling them what they are doing is wrong. 50 years on our government are apologising for this and that regarding our role in the North of Ireland and i reckon the same will be true in 50 years about our backing of a regimes genocide in Gaza. People should have been questioning our behaviour in the North of Ireland at the time and likewise people should be questioning our governments backing of Israel now, interestingly I think i put up a link to a poll in the past on here how UK people are sympathetic to the Palestinian cause and not Israel but our Governments who supposed to represent us sympathies are the opposite, wonder why that is, have they been compromised/bought who knows hey. |

You should be banned if anyone, I can't see how you can go round accusing people of things like that. Some people try to shut down debate, it's the same old trick there is a genocide going on in Gaza and some people are afraid to speak up because they get unfairly labelled, it's a game. |

The de facto English army should not go round executing people, it seems like they love to shoot people in the back that are no threat, bogside massacre another example, they also killed unarmed people in the street in Gibraltar including women I guess that was done infront of women and children as if i recall it was in a shopping street in the middle of the day, also there are accusations about what the de facto English army have done in Afghanistan, accusations of children been shot dead in their beds etc I am a tax payer and I want the army to behave to higher standards than that, I don't blame the squaddies but the people telling them what to do. |
 | Forum Thread | Big games coming up at 21:25 9 Feb 2025
February 11th Wrexham v Bolton in the trophy, a home semi awaits the winner, it looks set up for a Wrexham v Birmingham Wembley final, although they are both 3rd tier teams if it was to happen could that match sell out Wembley ? March 1st AFC Totten v Merthyr, are the red cards catching up with Merthyr ?, if big spending Totten win that h2h game then they.might become favourites for the league they have already beaten Merthyr in the Cup and drawn up at Merthyr in the league, Merthyr might well need to hold them to a draw to keep their noses in front. |

Rangers had 28 shots, Queens Park had 1 shot, Queens Park won , its a shock of historic proportions. |

Liverpool lose to the Pilgrims, Rangers lose to the Spiders and Swansea lose to The New Saints. |

It looks like the quality of care at that hospital is found wanting judging by the experts that looked at the cases, it's a concern that some of these border hospitals in England are so poor when Welsh infants might get treated there. I remember the Woodward case, a British expert saying why it was an existing injury and the Yanks saying who are you ? our eminent doctors say different, he told them that he actually invented the machine that created the images they were looking at, they had no answer only to say ' who do you think you are coming over here talking down to us' etc, they still found her guilty mind. With lots of those doctors a few years later changing their mind and now having a different opinion. People get wrapped up in the emotion of cases, if there is little in the way of witnesses, dna etc then juries and the like need to be sure in their minds that the person is 'beyond reasonable doubt guilty' which in my view should be 85% to 90% certain in their minds which is a high bar (10 out of 12 as a percentage = over 83%, I think sometimes judges accept 10 out of 12 hence my figure). The three cases Woodward, Morris, Letby were all found guilty but should they have been found guilty beyond reasonable doubt is very much a matter of debate ?, as regards were they really guilty only they and God know that (and im not particularly religious but that is the best way of puting it) out of the three I would have said Letby looks the most guilty but that one has now also become a lot more debatable after these experts findings. |

It all comes down to beyond reasonable doubt like the Clydach case - was it beyond reasonable doubt ? a lot of the time it's not who is guilty or not guilty per se when there are no witnesses and no conclusive dna but was it beyond reasonable doubt ? I pointed out before on the Clydach thread that lots of trials and appeals won by the crown doesn't mean that the case is safe, it can mean the opposite hence the appeals in the first place. In these cases Clydach/Countess of Chester nobody knows if the convicted is really guilty in reality, they maybe, they may not be. My guess is one is guilty and one isn't guilty. Wrexham by the sound of it finally put in a 'performance and win' for the first time for a long time . |

Newport with an absolutely vital win tonight, seems like they might have been lucky judging by the stats but a vital win nevertheless, if they had lost they would have been in big trouble, that has eased for the time being at least. |

Tydfil did it yet again in injury time, the amount of times they have score in the last minute/injury time in recent weeks has been amazing and helped them to keep their lead at the top of the table but tonight's draw does leave the door slightly ajar for Totten. |

As per the above link a sister of one of the victims is reported as saying that she is expecting "a very diluted version of the truth". There are people in this country, dare I say simple people that think a government inquiry will be the whole truth and nothing but the truth, lol, think on, mind you they think the same about court cases, if somebody is found not guilty they think they are 100% innocent of the crime and if they are guilty they think they 100% done the crime, more enlighten people know its not always the case. Have we had a public inquiry into the Lockerbie disaster, no I thought not, our government up to their necks in shady actions over the event and don't want a public inquiry into all those deaths. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c5yvpw8rldxo Even the families think its going to be a massive cover up, mi5, informants, Irish and UK government's all covering their involvement in events up, its obvious its going to be half truths, made up truths, diluted truths but not the whole truth, pity for the families but unfortunately its a murky shady world. |

The Government want to be seen to be doing the right thing but no doubt the powers that be will do it in a chorgraphed way as not to show themselves in a bad light if they can. |
