QPR v Everton Betting Preview
QPR v Everton Betting Preview

With some advance tips for Cheltenham, and an assessment of the weekend sporting market, the LFW pundits are back hoping to make you some easy money.

Big losses all round last week. Andy drops back to £85.92 in the red, Brian is now just £27.33 in the black although his Tommy Bowe Six Nations bet is looking good.

Everton head to town this week and if the league started in January and ended in May they would be playing Champions League football on a regular basis.

They head to HQ after beating Man City and Chelsea at Goodison recently but they only drew at Wigan. Does this give us hope ? Well it depends if our players can manage to stay on the pitch for the full 90 minutes. I have checked the rules and it doesn't say anything about one of your players having to headbutt, push or kick anything that moves above the knee in the first 30 minutes of a game. From a betting point of view the draw is the result for me and 1-1 is the favoured prediction. On a first scoring front let’s go for Anton Ferdinand at a big price.

The rearranged France Ireland game takes place and we will stick again with Tommy Bowe for first try scorer - he is also top try scorer in the tournament with three so far so the 11/1 shot is still going strong.

Cheltenham is just over a week away and the recent Kauto Star scare goes to show that it can be a risky business betting ante post. My normal Cheltenham rules are four fold

1. Watch out for Ferdy Murphy horses he nornally has a big price winner - No reason to change that this year and I will be looking to highlight a few next week

2. Check Trainers in form - Donald McCain is in good form at present and Cinders and Ashes looks the bet in the Supreme Novice Hurdle (first race of the festival) and is available at 9/1

3. Shop around for value - Always look around for better prices, places of betting each way. It could cost you if you dont.

4. Stick to your staking plan and dont chase your losses after a few pints of Guinness. - No need for an explanation for this one.

In the football this week I am going for a split by selecting a group of games on Saturday before turning to the Sunday games in an effort to make a few quid before Cheltenham.

For the weekend:

£10 correct score QPR 1 Everton 1

£2.50 1st scorer Anton Ferdinand

The Pro

Professional odds compiler Owen Goulding has cracked. Weeks of intelligent analysis blown by ridiculous behaviour on the pitch has reduced him to a weary one line preview this week.

I’m sick of posting previews only to have them made irrelevant by less than intelligent players. So, short and sweet this week. It's going to be tight, boring and edgy. Bet of the weekend, draw at half time, 11/10 with Bet365. Let's hope we can get there with 11 players on the field.
