Garry Monk says he is not sure if he can watch tonight's crunch clash between Burnley and Sheffield United

The Swansea City captain scored his first goal of the season on Saturday to lift the Swans to within one point of the play off zone, a one point gap that could seem much closer tonight when Burnley take on promotion chasing Sheffield United.

A win for the Blades will send the Swans into the last two games of the season with a great chance of reaching the play offs, whilst a victory for Burnley would make it seem an almost impossible task for us to get there.

And with so much depending on the result, Monk is not sure whether he can watch the game and he told the Daily Mirror "Monday will be interesting with Sheffield United still going for the top two and Burnley still trying to hang on

"We are hoping Sheffield United do us a favour. It's Burnley's position to lose and ours to gain.

"I'm one of those who hate watching games like that when there's a lot on it. I'll probably watch or no doubt I'll be flicking over to it, but sometimes it's nice to just hear the result.

"If Burnley win that game, they will go back four points ahead for the last two games. Us knocking it down to one point right now gives them a couple of days to think about it and the pressure builds up.

It's all theirs to lose."
