![]() Thursday, 20th Mar 2025 18:59 by Mark Marko Monk Yet again, our old friends at Sky TV meddle with our fixtures but the good news is no hated early kick offs are enforced upon us in the latest round of changes. The official Leeds United website have confirmed that our Good Friday (April 18th) trip to Oxford United will now kick-off at 8pm and not 3pm so it can be televised live on Sky TV. Whilst this in some respects is a relief as they've spared us an early kick off, which appear to be a bit of a jinx of late, it will be no comfort to those travelling fans who rely on public transport. Without factoring in any bank holiday rail timetable changes, the last train to Leeds from Oxford on a Friday night departs at 19:40, twenty minutes before the revised kick off time. Three days later we host Oxford's fellow relegation rivals Stoke City and the Sky TV crew will be there too on Easter Monday but it somewhat unbelievably remains as a 3pm kick off! We're not famous anymore! Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
