Enoch Showunmi could be missing for the visit of the Railwaymen.

Whilst Big Enoch nurses his hip, sustained in the JPT win over Bradford midweek, Leeds will welcome back Paul Telfer, Alan Sheehan and Paul Huntingdon from the sidelines.

The whites' go in search of their first home league win of the season, whilst Crewe have lost both of their previous away games this season 0-2 at Hereford and 2-4 at Carlisle.

They do have gobby flop striker Antony Elding in their ranks, who has been bragging all week how he is going to shoot down Leeds as revenge for letting him leave after just six-months.

Lets hope Macca's decision to turf him out is vindicated by 4.45pm and Elding proves to be, as we all suspect, all mouth!

Alex will also be missing Michael O'Connor (international duty), Chris McCready (hamstring) but according to the official Crewe website Joel Grant could recover from his own hamstring problems.

Last season in February, Crewe held Leeds to a 1-1 draw at ER, with Tresor Kandol's late strike cancelling out Nicky Maynard's opener.

Past meetings with Alex have only become regular occurences in the last four seasons. The only other meeting prior to 2004 was in the FA Cup 3rd round back in 1994 when Leeds recovered from going a goal down to win 3-1.

At the end of the 2005/06 season, play-off bound Leeds saw off relegated Crewe thanks to a David Healy winner. In 2004/05, Alex stunned over 32,000 fans at ER on New Years day with goals from Mark Rivers and Dean Ashton.

Men to have worn the colours of both clubs include: Rob Hulse, Seth Johnson, Jermaine Wright, Danny Milosevic, Roger Eli, John Pemberton and Jimmy Greenhoff.
