County’s first team squad step up their preparations for the new season tonight, as they take on Evo-Stick League Premier Division side Northwich Victoria in a pre-season friendly. The Hatters squad is still severely depleted so it will be interesting to see what sort of team new manager Paul Simpson is able to put out.

Simpson is still in the process of shaping his squad following the exodus of players both during and at the end of the 2009/10 season, so the line up is expected to be a mixture of first team players and youth team players. New boys Barry Conlon and Mark Lynch are expected to make their debuts in the game.

The game takes place at Victoria Stadium and kicks off at 7:45pm. Admission prices are £7 for adults, £5 for concessions and £2 for children.
