they were by only 30% of the registered voters says lots when comedian Al Murray finishes runner up in a election

If them other 70% had voted we'd of probably seen a Green Party/Liberal coalition or even Green Party majority

I think you will find that 66.1% of the electorate voted in May.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/general-election-2015/11592557/General-election-

But don't start letting little things like the truth get in the the way of your diluted mindset. Labour lost again and your Bennies are under threat because we are 1.5 Trillion Pounds in debt - £1,500,000,000,000 That's a one, a five and eleven noughts or put another way nearly £70,000 of debt for every family in the UK, or at its simplest, you owe £25,106 - I would be fascinated to hear your economic plan for resolving this issue.

Oh and just for more accuracy , Al Murray came 6th, the generally accepted definition of runner-up is second place or medal winner other than Gold.

The debt isn't down to the walfare system the debt is down to super-rich companies/banks avoiding not paying their way some of these super-rich companies happen to be friends of yup you guessed it the tory party/Obamas mafia/EU

These mega-rich companies avoid paying billions of pounds/dollars/euros of tax to pretty much every European country year in, year out yet none of the political establishment got the guts to stand up to these people in a way i think they are scared of the likes of Illuminati, rothwells and the other secret organization

So the real issue here is who voted for who...and nothing to do with evil paedophiles!
Come on Tazz surely it really doesnt matter who they are politically , they all seem the same to me, always covering their backs at every turn. Not just sex abuse but cash for questions and expenses , they are all as bad as each other. If a crime has been committed then the perpetrators should be brought to justice and not protected for "national security".

many of you have missed the original point of this post in the other thread Labour got bashed by the psychopaths defenders (Tory lot) yet these happened under thatcher (The Iron Lady & The psychopaths puppet master) who were a Tory what i am saying is both big establishments are guilty of these cover ups just like future cover ups what will come to light under this current unwanted Gov

I am what you consider as being a 'Tory lot' yet I will not and cannot defend crimes committed by any MP of any persuasion. You implied that it (being a peadophile) was a 'Tory disease', which I and many others have highlighted that, unfortunately this disease crosses the entire political divide.

This current government was wanted by the majority of people who voted. If people choose not to vote then they cannot complain about those who govern them. Even with PR we would currently have a right of centre government.

As for you 'debt/deficit' comment you are right welfare payments did not, on their own create a situation where the government was spending £4 for every £3 it generated in taxation, thus expanding the national debt. Even using the figure quoted in the article below which mentions tax avoidance (which is legal) this would not cover the current budget deficit of £87.7 million for the last year (see the second article), never mind fund the massive increase in spending wanted by yourself and others on the left.

Notice that I deliberately quoted from 'left leaning' sources, so that I could not be accused of 'Tory bias etc'

I believe that the problem is not confined to the 'entire political divide' but encompasses the 'Establishment' at both National and Local levels.

No it was a flippant comment in reply to Tazzy's comment regarding large, powerful organisations having influence over politicians. I have no idea about their tax arrangements, although I am not sure how much tax a trade union would actually pay?

Although these articles would suggest that some unions are avoiding tax?

No doubt some will dismiss this due to the sources!

There has been two political parties in power that have allowed these disgusting cover ups to happen, the Tories and Labour. The establishment figures involved include civil servants, MPs from at least Lab, Lib, and Tory, as well as senior ministers, and royalty. Also thought to have been involved senior people from the press and media.

I know that people from, Lab, Tory, Libs, Ukip, BNP have been found guilty of such crimes. I am unaware of any Green being found guilty and or any of the SNP, Plaid, or Ulster parties's members.

People who are pedophiles are from ALL backgrounds, classes, religions, colours. Most guilty o0f such crimes are family members or close family friends, known to the victim.

I posted a link in this thread yesterday to events in Belgium perpetrated by Green party politicians that nearly led to civil unrest.

As you said it is across the political divide.

OK, fair enough. JUst to let you know, TUC insist all of it's affiliates always pay their correct taxes etc.

Just to say that as TU members we have to give our consent for the Union to give to any political party as an individual. I have campaigned within my Union for money to go to individuals who support Union policies and campaigns whatever party they are from, not just the Lab Party. As unionists we at the moment and since the 90's have not had good value from the millions we have paid to the Lab party in my view. The LP get far better value from us than us from from them.
+

However many of us who are against the Tories end up paying unwittingly to them, and this as got to stop. My pension fund, should get my permission to donate to to any political party. Many people are employed by companies or are customers of companies that donate to the Tories mainly and to a much lesser extent to Libs and Lab. This should not be the case. We should all have a say as to whether these companies donate to a party. It should be individuals that decide whether any organisation donates, including us customers of power companies.

Yes I noticed that. The GP involved has done all it can to make it clear how wrong they were in the past. However the English GP were hardly around, if at all when those disgusting events happened in Belgium, so no real relevance to the Green movement here.

The UK Green Parties have nothing to do with Belgium's GP.
