So what? Anyone can be a member, clearly Labour didn't think he shared their values to be a representative.

He actually represented Plaid in the Assembly and now he's a Tory AM.

That's a bit different.

No, instead you tried to share it with the ACTUAL tories and the Purple Tories. I guess that makes Plaid the Daffodil Tories.

I would not do that, if Plaid was in charge I would not share it with the Conservatives or UKIP, Leanne all the way in that circumstance.

All I know is Labour would not form a coalition with the Tories or UKIP

They would rather go alone than sell out

If Leanne was voted in by others to be first minister, nobody has said that Plaid would share FM duties with Conservatives or UKIP.

So, the Assembly has seen sense then.

Two UKIP AMs are going to break the dead lock. And before Trampie calls foul, no, Labour are not ceding any policy to UKIP. Neither of the two UKIP AMs are party leaders. Nathan Gill just got removed as leader, and Mark Reckless is just another of their representatives who seems to have overslept on the train from England and woken up in Cardiff. Neither of them would be able to bargain on behalf of their party so it looks as though they just saw sense and got on with it.

There might be some spite aimed at Neil Hamilton too.

And apparently UKIP voted with Labour last week on the NHS.

Exactly.

Getting two backbench UKIP AMs (when both hate their new leader, Neil Hamilton) is a little different than getting the UKIP and Tory leadership and all of their members to form a government with you.

I don't know if you watched the news yesterday Trampie, but Labour went to the vote accepting that they don't have a majority and were clearly ready to rule as a minority government.

So your point is mute here.

So its ok for UKIP to vote with Labour but not ok for UKIP to vote with Plaid is it.

I heard that UKIP went to Plaid and said 'we voted for Leanne what can you do for us ?' the reply was 'nothing', so they have gone to Labour and said 'we will vote for Carwyn what can you do for us ?' the reply was 'whatever you want' , no idea if that's true, but there you go.

Apparently UKIP will act as a group [who knows ?] and there is 7 of them so we will see.

you're so juvenile its unreal.

At least when Keruac was making sh*t up about the labour party he was trying to make it semi believable.

UKIP voted with plaid in the expectation of getting policy through as part of a coalition goverment. There is 0% chance of that happening with Welsh Labour.

Loving it large seeing Labour supporters squirming, that will teach them for being disingenuous, Labour should have gone to Plaid in the first place and said what have we got to give you for your support.
I wonder if they will be forced into going to Plaid anyway, in that scenario I've no doubt they would try and spin it that they weren't forced.

No, you're quite wrong in your analysis Trampie.

Leanne Wood went to the leader of UKIP and the Tories and asked for their support (all sides have admitted that). The aim was a Plaid leadership propped up by the Tories and UKIP (and the Lib Dems actually).

Having thankfully had her utterly unprincipled personal ambition thwarted by Kirsty Williams (which was unepxpected by Plaid - again, look at what Kirsty has said for proof) there was an impasse and two UKIP members have decided to break the impasse so that the Welsh Government can function. Plaid were uninterested in whether it could function.

Spin all you want, but Plaid exposed themselves and it hasn't gone unnoticed. They put Wales below their personal ambitions. They put any notion that they are in any way 'socialists' behind their personal ambitions. In fact they have shown the world that they are happy to agree to work with anyone that will allow them some power.

Leanne Wood is a charlatan. A second rate, unprincipled, hugely ambitious charlatan.

She has been caught out by the stance of one Lib Dem who was prepared to act for the good of Wales. If it had gone the way Leanne Wood wanted we would now have a FM propped up by a party that don't agree with the whole concept of Wales and Welsh Government.

In one fell swoop, Leanne Wood is finished as a serious politician. The only possible description of her now would be as a political opportunist.

She is too stupid to realise that she won't be able to spin this one away.

But if the vote in June is for out, at least we won't have to listen to her whine about how 'The People of Wales' voted in and therefore the vote is unfair. Because she's just tried to do a deal with a party whose only reason for existence is to leave Europe because she fancied a bit of power.

Now go away and cosy up to the lovely Hamiltons with your unprincipled 'leader' and the rest of us will laugh while the equally unprincipled Neil Hamilton drops her in it.

I get a vibe you may very well have used both subtle psychological tactics i.e. neuro-linguistic programming etc, superior intelligence and intuitive foresight to lure some unsuspecting individuals right into a trap?..................They've been bushwhacked!

I bet you had the 'aces' all along?........You devious rascal!.......Please go easy on them, I guess it must be hard when they have to cope with 'common-sense- disorder' i.e. actually think superfluous multi million Pound 'white-elephant' ego-trips should come before desperately required hospital facilities.
