Indeed and it does look like Welsh Labour are now being pressed for some concessions to get the vote in the Leadership election. It will be good business by Plaid as we could see a much more representative election outcome in future and there will be more money to be distributed throughout Wales if the black route gets dropped. |
Hopefully things will start to look a lot brighter for SW Wales/Swansea/rest of Wales in the near future if Plaid does that 'good business'....... absolutely fantastic. I think many a grass-roots Labour supporter of 'common-sense' humble foot-soldier type will be delighted also i.e. goodbye to the Cardiff and rest of Wales divide which tbh is not unlike and very similar to what Thatcher and Tories engineered with that Tory (North-South) divide.

South-West Wales always votes Labour in the Welsh Assembly elections the people of Swansea and surrounding areas are not doing themselves any favours voting Labour if they think Swansea and the surrounding areas get less than Cardiff and the South-East, things are unlikely to change with Labour getting back in and if one day in the future if Labour don't get in but South-West Wales votes Labour on mass yet again then are other parties going to go out of their way to do all they can for Swansea and the surrounding area ?
