£20m,A good price. I'd be happy with Fede and Van der hoorn,No doubt if there's any truth to it the Amercians certainly wouldn't say no.

They certainly wouldn’t say no at that price.

They’d replace him by paying £11M for a tin of corned beef.

Yup no doubt they'd sell for that and bring in some dross to replace him at £5m.

That may flush out some other interest and given the previous sales of the best players It may happen. If the club is serious about trying to retain its PL status, it needs to hold on to its best players.

‘What posters think’ makes no difference, if you think an American hedge fund would turn down 20 million for Alf to enable them to make more dosh you are deluded.

I’d imagine if anyone offers cash for KI in Jan he will be sold before he walks away for nothing in the summer.

That’s what Jenkins & the other w ankers have done to our club

If they go ahead it will once again show their true colours. It would be interesting to hear their explanation to all the pundits who at last can see where the true problem lay. Next manager and players - someone who will comply and cheap and nasty- as usual.

If Evans leaves West Brom it will be to a far better club than us.

He's been playing like his heart is elsewhere anyway . It's ok to sell on players as long as we replace them correctly.

£20 m ? I thought we'd be lucky to get our money back ! Fook him off, big time Charlie will fit in well at West Ham .

Another stupid post from Ice.
Mawson is young, a player we should be building our side around in the Championship.
£20 million is nothing for a player who is going to become a top player.
Keep.

As long there is a chance to stay in the Premier League, the board will not sell him.

But they are interested - he is also a very good defender.

I heard on AIC podcast that we have to sell to be able to buy in January, and Mawson was someone the board were looking to offload to raise funds.

Unbelievable, where’s the cash gone? If I was the Trust I would be asking some serious questions.

Aye - just typical of the off field shambles the Trust seems to endorse. Aside from Board costs, tens of millions wasted on diabolical signings, loans and manager pay offs.

At £20m he’ll be gone.

That’s not what I want, instead it’s my opinion. We’ll then bring in another Championship CB on deadline day for £5m.

Maybe. All opinions etc. But Alfie this season has gone backwards when he should have been progressing. Like quite a few people I don't buy into his Cruyff turns and 50 yrd punts to nowhere .

That's his ability on the ball. Off the ball he is really far off the mark. Loses his man easy. Backs off far too much, doesn't do the basics very well at all .

Of course he's young but he is still a prospect with a question mark on whether he will progress.

IMO we are lacking real quality at the back and that's one of the reasons why clement set out more defensive. Has been a big time Charlie since going away with England .

Yes they will. This is Swansea City.

Its top money, and he lacks a bit of pace for me.

However the £20m will not be invested in the first team.

How the hell can this be true? Even allowing for compensation payments to three managers since the Yanks arrived and HJ's extortionate salary?
