So who has ventured out and had a hand pulled pint. I went out last night and had 2 pints of Taylor’s Landlord. My first hand pulled beer since the Newcastle United Home game so I've waited longer than most. It tasted fabulous

Black Dog reopened last night 😀

Beer has gone up 😢

Went out Sat though for a couple, had to go somewhere else though

Shouldn't the price of a pint be going down in the light of the latest reduction in VAT ?

No. I don't think the VAT reduction applies to alcohol.

Correct Dawlish.

Interestingly, the chap interviewed wasn't going to pass on a ~50p reduction anyway. After having no business for over 3 months and pubs with limited occupancy, not really surprising prices weren't expected to go down. Publicans have bills to pay too.

Not ventured out yet, but may pop out for a couple early doors on Saturday - if not, certainly one day next week ……. a wander in the Peak District with a lunch stop en route somewhere.

Hopefully it will be altogether less eventful than this? You have to admire his determination?

Thanks for that, I assumed that alcohol would be included in the VAT reduction. I'm not desperate for a pub meal so I'll be giving it a bit longer before I venture out.
