And, of course, as Worzel 130 has pointed out, a bigger club than Little Pompey: "historical attendance" https://www.nufc.com/html/2018-19html/attendance-all-time.html "time in top flight" Saints 44 seasons Coventry 34 seasons Little Pompey 33 seasons

Possibly, next season we could meet your club in the Championship, the natural level of your club and ours.

Seasons Southampton: 1st tier 44, 2nd tier 39, 3rd tier 11 Little Pompey: 1st tier 33, 2nd tier 40, 3rd tier 15, 4th tier 6 Saints are an established Premier League team and that is the level we have been in most; Little Pompey are a League One team. Saints' natural level is the top flight while Little Pompey's is the lower divisions. Stop trying to pretend you are as big a club as Saints because everybody knows you are not. You are two leagues below Saints and you're not even the biggest club in the 3rd tier. Get over it. Try posting on the message board of a team more your level, like Plymouth, and maybe you won't get humiliated quite so much. [Post edited 23 Aug 2020 14:15]

You can get 45-1 on that happening so why don't you stick £20 on it , it would pay for a flight home so you could watch the Derby in the 21/22 season.

I seem to recall that you haven’t been in the Championship since 2012, when you unfortunately were very much in our shadow. So that’s 8 years since you were at your “natural level”. Whereas we only stayed in that division for 1 season on our route back up to the Prem; where we have been ever since. I would suggest both clubs are currently in the division which reflects their natural level. Particularly as you only took less than 1,300 fans to the away leg of the play-off semi final two seasons ago. And 6 pillocks on a flatbed truck last season.

Non-League? Not in any of our lifetimes. You really have to stop making reference to stuff that goes back to an era when Huddersfield were champions. Does it make them a big club now? Of course not. You won the Div 2 Championship? Big deal. So did Reading. A club which are pretty nondescript, much like yourselves.

https://www.1sports1.com/biggest-football-clubs-in-the-uk/ Poopey ranked 33. (not even worth any comments) Saints 18 (see below) The Saints might not have a bulging trophy cabinet, but they’ve got a good stadium, the fanbase to fill it and a history of giving those fans a decent standard of football to watch. They’re established. They are one of the biggest football clubs in the UK.
