Trialist 16:51 - Nov 17 with 5254 views | Dale92 | We have a trialist on board played 70 minutes today for thr 'Integration' squad. Baah played the full 90, Humphreys 45mins. Looking at the line up looks like a winger

Expect at least one of them to be in the squad for the next league match. Also good to here we are still looking at players. I’d hope it is an experienced player who can be added to the first team squad once match fit. But even if it’s a raw young talent it is reassuring to know the rule is continues being run over potential signings.

Described as a left wing back. Does this mean Bola isn't staying after Jan or is it just a plan B in case he doesn't?

While Ryan can play wing back, he is primarily a winger or, even more recently, an attacking midfielder playing through the middle.

Moved up a league from not playing at Sunderland. Can only assume he has been training there for a long while and proved he is injury free or is on a low basic initially. If he can stay fit he is a quality player but seeing where he signed, was probably always out of our reach.

I think we had more chance of signing Neil Whatmore.
| When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf? |

I honestly don’t see why, obviously if he was training with Boro and wanted we had no chance, but he has barely featured for Sunderland in years, used to play in this area and if he had no options why not? McShane signing we would not have foreseen, and would suggest he is a higher profile player.

I think the two players' respective ages are the main difference
