I'm not so sure about that. For starters, Burton are in League One. Yes, they're struggling, but there's still more than a whole division between them and Boreham Wood. Also, BHW had comfortably dispatched two struggling League Two teams in Crawley and Newport to get to the third round. Bromley, promoted from the NL 18 months ago, are currently top of League Two. Chesterfield, who went up with them, are in the play-off places. Barnet, last season's NL champions, are in the top half of League Two and while Oldham are in the bottom half, they are 14 points clear of the relegation places. It seems to me that if a promoted club can maintain the momentum that took them up, they are likely to bridge any perceived gap without much ado and subsequently perform better than the more established EFL clubs who have been treading water in the lower reaches of League Two for a number of years, such as the current bottom two. |

As previously reported, he's injured and potentially out for the season. |

I'm not sure of the relevance, danny. |

I think I have a scan of the Fulham report on my PC at home which I shall post on here when I’m back from down under so the facts can be established. |

Tbh, I doubt there are “plenty of others”, as there aren’t that many abandonments in football. Even Dale, with our pitch issues, rarely suffer from such an outcome as the games are usually postponed rather than allowed to start. The three abandoned Dale games I’ve attended were all replayed. I believe there was also an abandoned game v Fulham in 1969/1970-ish that was replayed, but I was in nappies then. Maybe older fans can remember. The only abandoned game this season which wasn’t replayed was Scunthorpe v Wealdstone, a game in which Wealdstone opted not to continue after an injury to one of their players. I’m not sure it would be easy to confirm either way, however, unless there’s a list online of all abandoned matches. Edit: just seen 442’s post. As said, abandonments are rare. Does that extend to those England supporters with tickets for tomorrow? |

Looks like kangaroo spotting is on the agenda. Best skip to it… |

Correct, and the opposition are allowed to play well or above how well their position suggests they should. |

Why? I think we’ve shown we’ve more than enough about us this season, regardless of a supposed star man playing for the opposition. As has been said, let them worry about us. |
