The 2023 Rugby World Cup Thread 22:00 - Aug 16 with 42734 viewsKeithHaynes

Our very own RWC thread.

Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England will join 16 other nations as they compete for the ultimate prize in rugby – the Webb Ellis Cup – which was last won by the Springboks in 2019. The opening match of Rugby World Cup 2023 will see hosts France face three-time winners New Zealand on Friday 8th September. The final will take place seven weeks later on Saturday 28th October.

I’m attempting to watch this game, it’s dreadful, hoofing the ball 50 yards in he air every other minute.
Turning it over to the Newcastle Brentford game.

Reading your first sentence I thought the football had kicked off early.

Time to change the 6 nations to 12 or even 18 nations.
1 up, 1 down in each division.
I am in the pub now and everyone around me didn’t even know Portugal played rugby until this fixture came up.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Poke me,was that hard work.
Imagine playing rugby in Portugal.
The game showed the massive mistakes of Johnny mcdykhead and Mason Grady as centres .
Shocking selections

Can someone explain to me how Tomas Williams and Dillion Lewis are international Rugby players dear me, we're in dire need of more quality at Scrum Half, IO have my doubts about Rio Dyer as well, but he's still a youngster but he's got to be told to stop trying to be a crash ball centre.

Not sure which is the best result for Wales.
Aus v Fiji.

Not that it matters on yesterdays showing.

Sadly, an Australia win. Get Fuji out if the race. Wakes should be able to lose to Aus if they go on to beat Georgia with BPs. I think.

Sticks in my craw wanting them to win though😏

Fiji by far the better side in the first half but needed to come away with points with the pressure in the last 5 minutes.
Probably the worst Australian side I've seen since Brendan Moon was on the wing.

If Fiji do win - then we need them to win by more than 7 points, to stop Australia gaining a losing bonus point.

I've never seen such a clueless Aussie team. They've always had such fantastic footballers but this lot are absolutely dire.
