I more concerned about the lack of keffiyehs being available for the unwashed lefties, the rest of it will take care of itself and you me and next doors cat will have no influence on its outcome.
Obviously some are missing the bigger picture ,in 1979 the Islamists in Iran sided with the leftish parties who were edging towards power and did gain it after the removal of the Shah and with it the establishment of the Islamic Republic who then removed all those of the left who created the conditions for the revolution, these included all those who now historically are targeted by the followers of Islam. This is not the start of a take over of our political system , that happened when Blair opened the gates of this country, who would vote Green knowing their main policies include no borders ,Labour as a party as are the Tories will be in the wilderness so who are the next best party to support if your aim is to achieve your aims.
I wonder where they think cardiff is "The governing body said three licences would be granted - one to a team in Cardiff, one in the west and one in the east"
I'm not a fan of our civic leader but at least he's making all the right noises.
You’ll find undesirables where ever you go a sad indictment on today’s society, I struggle to understand what the councils plans are for the city centre , it’s moved its civic centre now into town and with the upsurge in student and private accommodation where exactly are these shops going to expand to , opposite Asda there will be another shopping centre with yet more shops in direct competition to the city centre so just is the councils vision for the city centre?
If ever there was a perfect example of a catch 22 situation then its town shopping , shoppers wont come because there's no shops , retailers wont open or close because there are no shoppers .I've never heard anyone in my social group ever say they're not going to shop in town because of the price of parking but they do say because there's no shops. The decline in the City centre started when out of town shopping became a thing along with the loss of many high paying employers such as Ford, Velindre, LLandarcy, BP chemicals and now the steel works so the areas not really awash with disposable income nor ever will be again due to the cardiff centric where over 80% of new jobs created in Wales end up eastwards.
IMO atm he's only one of two players who when receiving the ball is worth getting off my seat for. His spatial awareness is very good and more often than not can pick off a decisive pass. I agree he's a great player to have coming off the bench but just as good as one who should be starting.
"Semi Autonomous rule has not worked perfectly by it plenty of English people seem to want to come to live in Wales." and no Welshperson ever left Wales to live & work in England
Good news for those who are interested in Welsh youth football, the young lad Enzo Romano who I posted on another thread ( and accused of ?) as being illegible to play for Wales despite being born and raised in Cardiff has now had his appeal approved after being previously denied
Devastating news imo ,soon the centre will be looking like a rainy day in Aberystwyth , I know many family members who will be upset at this news but not suprised.
All I can say is be grateful for the draw, I am. We looked positive going forward in the first 15-20 minutes but the amount of corners conceded and balls across the face of our goal was more than worrying and as we retreated into some sort of dream state the more I was wishing the half would finish. Preston and the ref did a job on us and although our changes made us more dynamic the more Preston every dark art to slow the game down at every opportunity. Time for bed but the walk back tonight could have been more negative except for Cullens impression of a salmon leaping .
