A pressing game against teams who don't sit deep suits him, and neither Norwich or Coventry sat deep and shut up shop.
I still have concerns over him when we need to break teams down and do think we need a more creatively capable player in that role, but he has played well in recent games. |  |

He played in a tempest in Montenegro and had some issues initially with the slippery ground and keeping his footing. All great experience and he as a pro should have learned from that at adapted to play the conditions as seen yesterday. |  |

The player that was keeping Ollie out of the team in that position was Paterson, the one time both Ollie and Paterson players in the middle and it worked well with Ollie covering Manning playing on the left and Paterson playing on the right supplying good balls to Parker.
The midfield has been a bit of a nightmare since relegation with managers making changes that didn't make sense or work.
Is there need for a step up in quality, yes but Cooper has been given a chance and has taken it.
