Hamstring quad injury which can take months to heal. With one week to go before the break I guess not worth risking. Let’s hope he is back for the Pompey game even as an option on the bench to start with

Very much doubt he's got an injury even though he got injured against Eastleigh....

Considering Ekert said in a press interview that Jander would be ready soon 5 weeks ago - I'd say it's not just the injury.
Ekert recently said Jander's back in training and just needs to get back to match fitness.
Remains to be seen whether Jander is ready after the international break. He should be.
If he's not on the bench that pretty much will confirm that he wants away. Which only goes to show up some of Saints lousy decisions this summer IMHO: failure to replace Stewart adequately, Dobbin, failure to bring in another midfielder (as well as JWP) and failure to bring in a decent right-back ( IMHO Roslev won't do it).
