Denmark v Wales : Match thread Nations League 11:54 - Sep 26 with 4469 viewsModeratorC

Wales will take on Denmark at the 38,190 capacity Parken Stadium on Sunday as both nations look for their first points of this new UEFA Nations League campaign. The stadium was built in 1992 and is home to FC Copenhagen as well as the Denmark national team and replaced the Idrætspark Stadium that had hosted previous fixtures between these two nations. At EURO 2020, the stadium hosted the three Group B fixtures involving Denmark as well as the R16 tie between Spain and Croatia. (FAW)

I was in Copenhagen for the game and with the exception of the actual match had a great time with a mixture of fans from all over Wales who are very passionate about their country.

Emlyn and Emrys are well btw and send you their love.... I assume from your comments you have never been to a Wales away game as there is generally a good vibe with the exception of a few bluebird fans who still think Cardiff actually is Wales.

Bellamy was taking pelters and will not last much longer in my opinion, he might still have the players onside but not the fans based on the reactions before and after the game.

He sl@gs everything off to do with wales so Id put him on ignore for the wales topics.

Anyone who chooses to cause division between fans at Wales games deserve full attention.

It’s always there if you look for it, and even if you don’t. In fact you can find whatever you want if you look hard enough. It’s then about having the gonads to make your point.

They try and make it look like they are the dogs bollox, they have a massive chip on their shoulders but they know that deep down we are a better club than them.

I never heard or saw anything of them on this tour, atm they are well and truly in their box.

Back to the game. I have questions about Ward

When the ball is going to travel a long way to get into the box from a free kick decent keepers set the defensive line so that there is enough space for the keeper to collect or punch anything that is swung in close to the six yard box. This also gives defenders some space to manoeuvre and or block runners.

On the first goal the defensive line is high enough but but no one ne is covering the space near post. The second goal the line is too deep and Ward is stuck on his line.

Ward is as inept a keeper as you would find in international football
It’s why he’s invariably a bench player
Wales so desperately need a keeper and a proven centre striker of quality

How many times do you hear the phrase ' it does not beat the first man '.

We didn't have a first man in place!
