One of my mates, who is originally from Mumbles was Director Fire & Resilience for the Home Office and he talked about many of the difficulties the Fire Service had in recruiting and maintaining female staff because of the above. He is now Chief Finance Officer and Director of Delivery, College of Policing so lovely new challenges
