I wasn't sure which board to post this on but opted for this one. Feel free to move it if you see fit.

Anyone watch non-league or the Cymru Premier? I used to watch Maidenhead home and away as well as the Swans and have noted this creeping in in recent years. Either last year or the season before I saw a group of around 10 of our teenagers chasing some opposition fans back to station and dishing out a few slaps. I was a bit taken aback.

I guess it's because they want a tear up but it's cheaper to do it with your local pyramid club than pay double to go to a professional League club ?

I'll be disappointed if this grows into a nationwide problem and results in restrictions as in my experience non-league fans mix in the ground and clubhouse and you can take a beer on the terrace and to your seat and there was never any bother even when we played Newport or Merthyr. Welsh flags on display next to English ones. No problems whatever the result.

It just shows the downgrading in society over these last years, moreso since covid.

A lot of big (small) teams in non league, cheaper prices, not as much police/cameras..etc bumped into Aldershot fans on a train once coming back from Woking (derby game) maybe not the numbers but the kind of faces that wouldn't look out of place in places like Millwall,West Ham...etc.

Young kids have been fighting for years Rockers,Mods,Skinheads,Casuals....
