Oh god no......please no.
Scraping the bottom of the barrel if he signs.....

Him and Craney sounds a bit desparate to be honest.....

My all time favourite Dale player Mr Lyndon Symmonds

I still think Symes is a much better player than we have seen of him in a Dale shirt. He could probably do a good job in League Two. Unless it's just a coincidence that every time he's played against us he's had a good game.

If Coleman can get him doing what he did for Accy, he'll be worth having.

Symes would be a great signing at League Two level, he was class for us lot at Accy.

It's not as simple as that though, smudgie

For whatever reason, the lad was guilty of some very "lazy" performances for us at the back end of the season, when we needed everyone to be pulling their tripe out . He got his biggest cheer when he was substituted in the final home game.

It leaves a bad taste in the mouth and he'd have his work cut out to turn that around, and tbh he just didn't look that bothered what impression he made.

Nothing spreads through a team quicker than apathy. I wouldn't say it was as simple as being 'lazy', but he did looked disillusioned and who can blame him. He must have wondered what the hell was going on looking at some of those around him.

I can think of a few others that were more guilty than Symes of not impressing the crowd.

Not sure I agree with you there Sudden...

In all bar one game, Symes just did not look like someone who wanted to impress. He must have had a fair idea that Bornmuff would be releasing him, and therefore, I would have expected him to be pulling his tripe out in every game.

The bigger picture is that if he could not play well for his former boss...and the person who developed him.. then who would be able to motivate him?

He certainly didn't look like the player who faced us several times a few years ago.

The guy played like he was making the numbers and looked so disinterested in the majority of games.

The guy was getting paid to play. Not the sort of player we want round the dressing room at the start of a brand new season.

I think enthusiasm can be infectious, we need the types that possess this quality. if we start off badly, we need guys who can play with their head up high and get us out of a mess.

I think he will be signed on lowish wages within 2 weeks.

From seeing him in the past - maybe him, Donnelly and Afro would do a decent job - Think Grimes is going now after todays signing. Hope So.

Was in Lincoln talking to an ex Lincoln player last weekend, admittedly he left them ages ago but has links, Had Lincoln stayed up he was signing there, liked the area and allegedly the night life.

Heard a few things about AG that I cannot put on here, but if true - sooner he goes the better. If you doubt any of the above ask him if he likes a night out in "Dogma" :)
