Agreed
A great servant to the Club through not the easiest times. Superb footballing brain, long range shooting, dead-ball delivery and passing, just a shame he kept getting injured. A superb player, thanks for all the memories and best of luck Akos
Like to add my thanks to Buzz as well. As sorry to see him depart as I was Rolwands last season, and expect there will be plenty of offers for him.
Blackburn/Ollie's attacking style would suit him down to the ground.
Many of his goals will long live in the memory, but my favourites were the two up at Scunny.

Rest of the time injured, eating into the wage bill, underperforming when picked, a couple of good goals here and there but nowhere near the impact of the likes of Kenny or Rowlands (as mentioned above).

Cheers, but I don't echo all these sentiments.
Good for half a season, and that was that.

Fantastic work ethic, attitude combined with outstanding goals and in the championship one genuinely skillful player amongst a load of cloggers.
Thannks for all Akos and for the c.137 signatures you repeatedly gave to kids over the years. don't know how I'm gonna break the news to my 8 yr old daughter.
I always felt his best and most glittering period for us was when he was here on loan before he signed permanently. Luigi De Canio worked wonders for him by playing him in the hole behind the striker.
After that, and because of injuries, he never really quite hit those heights again, so that was a real shame. He had all the skill and ability to really do damage, but it never really worked out and he's never quite got over the succession of problems he has. I think he can, but someone needs to give him a chance and a long run in the side so he can rediscover than rhythm and consistency again.
But when he was on it, he was always wonderful to watch. There are very few people who can strike a dead ball like he can as well, that finish against Wigan at home last season was exquisite, as were many of his strikes.
Really hope it works out for him elsewhere, but personally I think it's the right decision for him to have taken at this point in time. He needs to play and play regularly and I don't think that would have been the case with us.

Your point is sort of valid, but is a bit over the top and harsh. He was an exceptional player for us in his first season and never reached those heights again after his injuries, often living off past glories with supporters. But he wasn't bad by any stretch, and scored some excellent and important goals for us right up until the end of this season. Real shame he picked up the two bad injuries when he did because he looked special when he first got here.
I'd like to see him go to Blackpool personally.

Easily our best song.
I like the Derry song too but we won't be hearing that one much next season.
With those gone it'll just be abuse. Come on Tony buy us some songs!

Thanks Akos for some great memories, and I know what you mean about telling your 8 year old.Mine is 10,and when I first started taking her,the player she always instantly recognised was him. A real shame it had to end like this, and I wish we had kept him,but good luck to him in the future.

I agree that Blackpool seems a good fit for him, nice attacking football. The only problem (apart from the injuries) with Akos is that he's 100% effective, but only when played in one position - in the Sausage Roll behind the striker/s. And it's difficult to cater for one player like that if you've also got Taaaaaaaarabt to fit in the team as well. Shame really cos when Akos was played there under Gigi and then (at the beginning) under Magilton, alleged head-butts aside

Great player on his day! Top quality at spreading the play and picking out passes. Not the quickest on the ball but had a lot of skill with the ball at his feet!
+ a great goal Vs. Swansea last season to top it all off.
He leaves a QPR favourite!

Be surprised to see him go to Blackpool. Olly never had much idea what to do with him at Plymouth, and although he's matured as a manager I don't think Buz will fancy taking another chance with him.
Watford, which is close to his home, seems an obvious possibility, with a new manager who would enjoy Buz's strengths. Leeds won't happen. Charlton would also be a good shout.
But, fakekerby's views aside (realkerby thinks he's talking rubbish, anyway), I have always loved Buz. A wonderful player to watch and I'm so glad he got a couple of goals for us this season because it had been far too long since we saw him score. Almost every goal he got was a cracker - away at Palace was a beauty in a very tight game, home to Stoke was lovely, that volley that went off like a firecracker at the loft end, the chip as has been mentioned, one guided missile with his left foot at the School End... wonderful, wonderful...
Good luck Buz.
Bare bones.

Good old Scott Carson.
he had some very good odd moments but was lost usually away...injuries affected him but he had the chance to sign and terms were not reached..cheers akos that goal down at palace was key to keeping us up and that allowed us the hope to move on, we did and are building....if we'd lost that day??

And the one vs West Brom , Warnocks first game in charge , from the halfway line ! (bit flukey) but whatever it was brilliant!
That freekick holds the world record for the longest amount of time between the ball being kicked and ending up in the back of the net without anyone else touching it. Remember it bouncing high in off both posts from near the halfway line, what a goal!!

Sad to see Akos go but like others have said, I think his opportunities to play would have been limited had he stayed. Seems like a genuinely nice person and showed some skills and scored some goals that really stick in the memory. If that flick and volley against Wigan at home last season hadn't been spectacularly saved it would have been one of the goals of the season.
Wish him all the very best for the future.

Wish him well. When we were crap he stood out among the dross. Can't recall him ever scoring a tap in they all seemed to be from outside the box. 'Dave' should thank him for putting most of the 8 goals in 6 starts on a plate for him a few years back. Injuries took their toll and then when he was ready to come back we were walking away with the Championship and couldn't get back in the side. But he deserved a better song than that Pele drivel which wasn't even original but was 'stolen'.Even the original is crap.

For me Akos Buzsaky turned a corner with the Club and showed a glimmer of hope, he's a Class player and only the bizarre circumstances of QPR's existence prior to the New Regime and his Injuries have prevented Akos becoming a briiliant Star. Michel Laudrup might be bright enough to pick up a great passer of the ball, flog Joe Allen or Brittan and pick up a real midfield player who makes things happen. Good Luck Akos Buzsaky and thank you for some Magyar magic..
