Watched a bit of it earlier on BBC2 and after watching the PDC tournament it was like watching a couple of Conference teams after watching a Champions League game.
Honestly it was painfu l to watch at times, like watching a couple of blokes throw in a pub. Have they opened a library at Lakeside as it seemed they were playing in one. |  |

The BDO has been substandard for years compared to the PDC.
I turned it on the other day to see the number 1 seed throwing scores of 41, and then a few darts later 25!
I honestly think if I entered, I could make the second round.
It's about time the BDO folded.

I'd say the BDO has a better atmosphere than the cottage. It's a close call, but they just edge it even with about 20k less people.
To an earlier post, sky don't poach players. It's the players choice which "union" if you want to call it that, that they belong to.
The players choose the PDC as the money's better, the competition is better, the all round package is better.
