Nice routine win in the end, but Walsall should have equalised after casual play from Stephens and Holgate, they both have qualities but seem a significant downgrade on Bednarek and THB.

Ryan Frazer on fire!

Charley gives the ball away a bit, but his incisiveness does make stuff happen.

Nice performances from the kids especially Meghoma. They all fitted into the system well.

Word for Joe Lumley, as I was expecting a calamitous performance and he looked quite decent!

Great comfortable win despite the occasional wobble. Great performance by Fraser. No injuries, players rested and through to the next round. Martin got the perfect balance in his team selection.

Decent win without ever needing to get into top gear. I think the lack of intensity led to a few sloppy passes but we always had enough going forwards, especially through the excellent Ryan Frazer. Good to see the kids do well especially Meghoma who looked decent.

Overall good performance. Difference was Fraser whose movement and first touch were superb and in the second half Meghoma who pushed on really well. Although Mara took his goal well his movement is pathetic. Not only is he static but he is never ready to go and always on his heels, in a match he should have shone in. SAA did very little but I thought Bragg looked very composed. Would agree that Lumley was impressive.
