And that will be all on the club. Fans can rightly be concerned at the possible change in the first place, but their views are the ones the club should take on board. |

Don’t think it’s a good idea but each club will be free to implement their own plans and Dale could (and should) just not allow drinks to be taken out of the bars.
If we ever do see it at Spotland, and I think this may all yet not come to pass, it’ll be the choice of our football club and fans/CAB etc can ensure the correct decision is made. |

Totally agree. Fail to understand why there is so much talk about his age. If his performances were affected by it, fine, but he’s a better player now than he was when he rejoined the club four years ago in L2. |

How will talking about where the UK compares to America - a country with more than enough problems of its own - help with supporting positive change in Rochdale?

Rodney looked quite sharp, Sherring less so. Waller played very well in goal too.
Hannant’s departure could be another blow though.
We went from another morale boosting win in a game where admittedly the opposition could have scored more, to a deflating end where the opposition did score more.
Yes, that wasn’t anywhere near our first choice defence/midfield at the end, but the same issues exist across whoever is out on the pitch and have since pre season. We have to find a way to stop giving up so many clear cut chances. It’s a tactical issue.

Can’t ever see a valid reason for Henderson not to be in the squad every week.
He’s also spoilt the record of 11 (I think) different scorers in a row to only have one goal. |

The amount of chances we give up is still a real concern. Obviously Saturday was a great win but we should be under no illusions how clear cut the chances Oldham had.
There were some of those xG stats on twitter, and whilst not a fan of all that usually, it paints a picture that we are significantly worse than anyone else for how many clear cut chances we create against those we give to the opposition.
Points wise, we are actually overachieving at the moment which does at least point to some resilience to keep going. |

Lots of playing out from the back and recycling the ball until someone is free. ZSD and Henderson finding space in that attacking midfield area, moreso now Liverpool are down to ten men. |

Would hope there’s a clear instruction that he’s not to do it unless there’s an obvious pass on. If not, get rid.
Of course, it would also require the whole approach at the back to be looked at too with defenders aware when/when not to give it to him.
What I would say is that yesterday saw him claim some crosses well. That’ll build some confidence. |
