And not just the amounts per transfer, look at the net dealings…if my maths is right they bought £130m (ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY MILLION) worth of tat and sold ONLY £75m worth in the Summer…ooosshhh.

Was about to say the same re Woolwich…was a shithole when I lived nearby in the 80’s and has got steadily worse since.
The Ibis/Premier Inn in Greenwich is clean and functional as well (have stayed in both) , plus only a few stops on the train.

Thanks Clive, another excellent report as usual, perfectly summing up my own frustrations.
Some very sketchy ball control towards the end of the game spoke to tiredness, or in Vale’s case, just wrong boots Gromit. Very curious and a tough watch

Reminds me of the Cup game last season. We were near the home fans on the right and we spotted one with said goggley hood, a man of advancing years who really should have known better.
Anyway my son and his mate, for want of seeing any of the football, started to shout “Goggles” at him at very regular intervals. Extremely childish and funny in equal measure…he didn’t reappear for the second half! |
