Agree…and I do love a one-touch midfielder…we seem to have two in the same team

Blimus, as Danny P might say

“Nicolas Madsen

First name on the team sheet

Now he’s on the scoresheet”

Beautiful Partridgesque commentary

Watched on a stream but it was very noticeable the difference in body language from last week on terms of seeing the game out…very aggressive, lots of “you ain’t fcuking doing that again”, possibly both a positive reaction from last week and the 7-1

They’ve always been a largely glory hunting set of fans in my experience of living here since the late 80s

Equally fond memories of watching him come on (back from injury?) as sub away at Swansea. He seemed to be wearing a pair of cherry red monkey boots with yellow laces…and running like they were as well. Happy days.

Personally liked Michi, Luton a high point but always gave his all.

Agree, that’s why I thought him in front of Dunne and Cook as a Defensive CM could work

Cheers Clive, I feel your pain.
I wonder if Ronnie playing in front of Dunne and Cook would work, with Madsen slighlt advance and to the right

Also love to see Obikwutus get a start

Can we just put in a professional away performance and thrash these gimps? I’m still scarred from 1986…it was my 19th birthday that day and I’ll never have that again

Main Reason you started following QPR ??
at 18:26 18 Jan 2026

My Dad was a Ranger, grew up in the Grove, went to Wembley in ‘67 just before I was born. Came home p!ssed at midnight, slapped a rosette on my mum’s heavily pregnant stomach and that was that!

Growing up in SE london and being QPR wasn’t that easy, surrounded by Wall, Charlton and Wet Spam fans but by ‘eck it’s been worth it.

Would echo all of this. I didn’t notice anyone leave early tut-tutting at our disgraceful performance. What I did see was 104 minutes of very vocal support with many staying behind at the end to clap the team off.

Supporters eh, daring to, er, support!

Also enjoyed the day, met up with some Stoke mates, good beer, good chat and a point away…could we have played better…of course. Will we remember this game in a few weeks? Nope. Will the point come on handy? Quite possibly.

I also get frustrated when we don’t play well and I think it’s possibly easier to do so when watching on the TV. Being there in person is a whole different experience and I’d be amazed if anyone there yesterday (or indeed any other similar style of game) came away angry and upset.

A few really good pubs in Newcastle, The Hop Inn my favourite, although wrong side of town.

I tag along with my Stokie mates and get a coach from The Museum to the ground…prob easier to go The Glebe at back of station and there are shuttle buses to ground from there

Blimus Numpty, I’ll have a snifter of what you’re having!

I’ll be in various Newcastle pubs early doors with my Stokie chums…cheap beers and thrills…or is that the other way around?

Anyway, I fear a gob bumming, hope I’m wrong…gone 1-3 Stoke 😩
