We have yet to see our two best wingers, Poku and Chair, play together in any meaningful way. Look forward to seeing what improvement this might bring. |

We are in a season of transition, development and learning, particularly for JS. We certainly appear too good for relegation, so we use this season to bed in the existing players and manager and review the situation in the summer. Buying and selling decisions to be made then, with a view to strengthening the team and having a real go next season following a strong preseason and a better understanding from the manager of what will be required. Leave any available funds in the bank….for now at least. |

Think that was on Poku. He was stood centrally on the edge of the box and ball watching. I’m sure I saw JS giving him a roasting about it after the full time whistle. Did like the look of Poku when he came on however, looks significantly stronger than Saito and Dembele. Hope he gets more minutes against Middlesbrough. |

You have all had too much mulled wine me thinks. Maja is fit and available (you know, the one who scored a hat trick here last time) and after last week, our charitable status within the league clearly remains fully intact. 1-1, will suffice. |

We all know what to expect from West Brom, another team that bullies us into submission every season, but will JS and his staff be fully aware of what they are facing. Unless we change our line up and add a bit of physicality, another humbling is on the cards. Field now likely injured, but Hayden and RND must start. Varane and Saito need to sit this one out. |

Can’t just keep “putting it behind us” and forgetting about it. JS needs to get to the bottom of our continued propensity to just not turn up in certain games and hand the 3 points over to teams that are there for the taking. It’s always 1 step forward and two steps back. Unless we can build some consistency we will never progress beyond the hallowed mid table obscurity. As a team, I personally feel we are just too lightweight and soft for this division, and the occasional win comes from the bit of quality from the midget brigade. The midfield is simply too weak and passive, providing very little going forward or defensively. Ultimately, the squad is a bit of a mish mash of players that have been randomly selected over a number of seasons without a real plan of the type of team we want to be. Maybe JS can sort this, but it will take a few seasons to do it. Whether he gets that long is another matter entirely. |

Just fu*cking infuriating to be honest. We knew what was coming and they served up the slop accordingly. Just watching Chelscum v Arseholes, yellow cards galore, two teams going at it hammer and tongue. Watching Madsen and Varane stroll around yesterday without a care in the world just boils my piss. Don’t know how much more I can take. |

Surely no one would criticise the manager for making changes after two tough games only days before? The guy was appointed in the knowledge that he could manage three game weeks. We have had Field and Hayden, two hugely experienced defensive midfielders warming the bench all season. Surely it was the time to play one of them in midfield and put our best left back on after resting him on Wednesday. Frey coming on instead of Kone or Kolli was downright nonsense. JS got yesterday wrong, pure and simple. |

Varane is too lightweight and lacks energy and strength for this division. With Madsen and Varane in deep lying midfield positions we will get found out on a regular basis. If we want to play with 3 offensive midgets behind a striker, we need 2 behind them with grit, determination and aggression. Madsen and Varane are so timid it beggars belief. |

An early goal would deflate them and should allow us to win comfortably. The longer the game goes on without us scoring will give them confidence. Need a strong confident start…but as always, never know what to expect. |

His biggest (and only) real attribute is his fierce shot. When was the last time he had one? Unless he is in or around the box, his lack of mobility is more of a liability than an advantage. Don’t buy the “makes space for others” gambit. He is an instinctive striker, but we need to use him correctly and he needs to lose some bulk. |
 | Forum Reply | Eze bags a hat trick at 22:48 23 Nov 2025
Agree with Les. Do feel he holds himself back sometimes. He is one of the best dribblers I have ever seen, but doesn’t do it anywhere near often enough. Go for it Ebs, take that handbrake off man. |
 | Forum Reply | Kone at 22:29 23 Nov 2025
Numpty over reacted, big time. We all say it as we see it. I think Kone looks a great finisher, but is weak in other areas, no biggy, everyone has strengths and weaknesses. I personally think a break would do him good. The other option is to keep playing him until he finds his form again. No issue either way. I would still like to see What Kolli can offer in his position. Really no need for anyone to lose their shit over an opinion. |
 | Forum Reply | Kone at 22:16 23 Nov 2025
We would still have two strikers up there if Kolli was playing in his place. I am in no way writing Kone off, he is young and has plenty of time on his side, but he looks low on confidence and finding opportunities difficult to come by. Only JS will know whether it is in his interests to keep playing him, or give him a break and give Kolli a genuine opportunity of a few consecutive games. We are in another 3 game week after all. |

The issue for me is that no one else in our team can get near that standard, hence the reason he should always play when fit. Said it before, form is temporary, class is permanent and with the possible exception of Field, no one is more committed to QPR than Chair. |
 | Forum Reply | Kone at 14:16 23 Nov 2025
Personally, I would drop Kone. I don’t really see what he is contributing if he is not scoring. No pace, touch not great and not great in the air either. If we hadn’t seen him score a few at the start of the season, we would consider him no better than Celar. He is either bang out of form, playing out of his favoured position or hasn’t adapted to his surroundings and team mates yet. Plenty of time for him to find his feet, but now is perhaps the moment to give Kolli a run out, who’s all round game looks better than Kone’s. Burrell is undroppable. Makes a huge difference having pace and work rate at the top end. |

It was only a matter of time. Can’t believe the grief some give him on here. Struggled with fitness and form over the last two seasons, but is without doubt a class act with known pedigree and quality. Imperious performance yesterday and at the heart of everything we did well. Great to finally see some fight and determination coursing throughout the entire team to come back and win that game. Consistency is now the key. Need to follow that up with the same belief and drive at Blackburn, a place we tend to fear and wither at. Can we go again with the same intensity? |
