That's interesting, I recently came across that Amelia thing because like you I was trawling YouTube, in my case looking for a specific C18th British Army marching song referenced in some history I was reading and I wanted to check the lyrics, and it was one of the clearest recordings for that purpose.

Leaving aside that I don't like taking pops at former players unless they've been dicks to us, I don't accept that winning teams are just about racking up better players (which was essentially the Redknapp claim).
We can all see that the squad is stronger than last year (and yes, some credit has to go to Nourry, same as he has to take the blame for previous failures such as Celar or, arguably, Dembele) but overall our spending has not been massive. I don't think other clubs were falling over themselves to eg sign Kamara but he looks a very useful addition in exactly the role we needed.
Overall I don't think there's been some sort of lightbulb moment with Stephan, I don't think what he's doing right now is radically different from what he tried to do with his previous clubs. I think it's been a process of putting things together on a budget over a couple of years, and establishing a team ethos. It takes time. Let's hope this year is Our Time.
I dunno, I know we've seen this before, but I still I feel quite sad about this.
Sorry for the fans, who've done nothing wrong, and for the players and their families. Often in club insolvencies there are small suppliers and St John's ambulance etc left out of pocket.
No sympathy for the owners but we get owners like that in football because the whole financial model encourages it.
As ever I'm left feeling grateful for our current owners, we could do lots worse.
By "shouldn't treat him as a 1st Teamer" I was probably being sloppy in my language - I don't mean he should be got rid of our consigned to the Dev squad.
But I do think that he's not first choice in any position right now so we need to think whether he's best used as a squad player, not necessarily getting into the match day squad let alone starting, or whether that role could be better given to one of the lads who impressed in pre-season and instead let him play regularly somewhere he can hone his game.
Got to be the right sort of loan though, there's no point in him racking up games at a lower level than he was playing at two years ago unless it's in a progressive side that plays something like the style we would want him to here.
