Is he aware of the 1% club chances of losing a keeper mid-match?

Can't find any specification that differs from other professional games. either in the EFL or National League(s)

It'll be interesting to see if McNulty therefore reverts to a sub keeper option if we're faced with "winner takes all" fixtures at the end of the season

... or a promotion

Most of us are aware of what was said at the forum, but may still disagree, as with any other aspect of football

Can't recall which game now - they're coming thick and fast, but i distinctly recall thinking "it's nearly half time, why are we doing this?"

Fair point about having no apparent injury afterwards

So let's criticise the tactic here, if no-one else has done it. I seem to recall it happening in a recent game about 2 minutes before half time, really not sure what the point of that was, unless he was genuinely injured on that occasion

I agree about the tactical element involved, but the number of times we've seen forwards leaving a foot in with no real prospect of getting the ball tells another story, and i've no doubt on several occasions he's genuinely taken a knock. One of these days...

Oli has "gone down" in each of the last three games, maybe longer than that

I believe opposition forwards are told to try and target him without incurring a card, given we have no sub keeper on the bench. One of these days, it'll really, really cost us

Watching "wave after wave" of Halifax attacks?

I could barely give it a sideways glance

We did look, and play tired, last night

After a decent start and Rodney's well-taken goal the loss of Tobi (probably not quite ready to return) hindered our momentum and the second half was a very tough watch. Ironically, grabbing our second against the run of play probably gave the lads a false sense of security and we immediately capitulated. I've read all the comments and rationally, we're still in wonderland but football is a game of emotions and there's no doubt our tactical withdrawal felt very much like the gsmes against Spennymoor and Southend

Fortunately, we've got every chance to change that around. We've reacted very well to setbacks this season, so our next performance will tell us whether that can be sustained or whether our challenge for the title is likely to peter out

I still don't fancy our chances in the playoffs

I've used the phrase "let's not forget" (or similar) twice today

I suspect your use of it, on this occasion, is redundant

Update: looks like Arsenal will beat Spurs, so it's back in their hands

With Dale, it's been "in our hands" for quite some time, and we've withstood the inherent pressure of that admirably... so far

In the discussion about respective managerial acheivements earlier today, when it was mooted that Hill's first promotion was possibly the greater acheivement of all, it shouldn't be forgotten how his team caved towards the end after being several points clear at the top. On reflection therefore, if McNulty can keep us on course and finish on top , it should count as the most accomplished campaign

I suppose the classic example of bucking the financial odds would be Claudio Ranieri with Leicester in 2015/16

I can be done, but rarely, and not sustained
