A few players have moved between the two clubs:
Tom Dallison – Signed for an undisclosed fee from Crawley in January 2022.
Tom Eastman – Had a short spell on loan at Crawley in 2011.
Ryan Dickson – Signed for Crawley in 2014 after rejecting a new contract with us.
Jamie Cade – Signed for Crawley after being released by us in 2005.
Tarryn Allarakhia – Signed for Crawley after being released from our U21s in 2018. Can't say I remember him! |

Shortly before burnsieespana passed away, I was arranging getting Tom Flanagan's shirt to him. Sadly, that never happened, and I still have the shirt.
Unless anyone has a better suggestion, I’m considering auctioning it and donating the proceeds to Sarcoma UK, which was the charity chosen for donations at his funeral.

I'm not sure what's happened with the Google search. We used to be the top search option for "Colchester United Forum" but now we're not appearing at all.
colchesterunited.com is the domain for the site - that takes you to the front page and from there you select Forum.
The 'Agree and proceed' message you're getting is the standard cookies alert you get on all sites. |

As per the previous two windows, Danny has said players will have to leave before players come in.

So who would we like to see leave?
According to Coludata, all but six players are out of contract next summer - Akande, Lisbie, Perry, Terry, Tucker, Williams.
I really hope we have options on the likes of Macey, Bishop and Payne - we need them and I don't want us to cash in now.
Right now I'd offload JK Gordon and take any money for Edwards and Tovide.

I can't work out where Hunt is going to play in this line-up. With Lisbie on the bench, my best guess is KVY & Hunt will be on the right wing, but not sure who would be attack and defence. |

I've heard that Payne and Akande are both back from injury. I expect we won't find out how fit they are until the team is announced at 11:30am tomorrow. |

We lost that one in the first half. A makeshift U's line-up vs a West Ham side that looked like they're established. It really is a shame we didn't start with a stronger XI, but if we pick up a good haul of points over the festive season, then all is forgiven. |

4/6 season ticket seats around me were empty on Saturday. People had made other plans before the game was moved. There was only a month's notice that the game was being brought forward. |
