I thought Obikwu didn't look too shoddy in the time that he was on. I thought Kone's lack of technique was evident. It was quite a quick game for the most part (aided and abetted by the sprinklers) and Kone's technique wasn't up to it. Let's go again on Saturday ! |

I think that comes from not having attacking players going on full cylinders. Kone, Kolli, Obikwu, Dembele to name a few holding a bit back just in case. Put it this way, if 36 year old Kyle Walker is able to catch up with you when you've got a 3 yard start then you're not as sharp as you should be. |

Didn't think it was that bad. Frustrating, yes, of course. But apart from a few indifferent spells, which you're always going to get, we were pretty much going for it with plenty of attacking intent. |

Didn't think Burnley were that bad. Just looked like a team that had been mismanaged. If their new manager knows how to get a tune out of them I think they will start climbing the table.
I also didn't think we were that bad. But it broke down too often with the players who aren't quick enough on the ball and Glen Kamara seems to be retreating into his shell too often. By and large however I thought we got players forward quite well and with a bit more confidence and panache in the box we could easily have won by a couple of goals. |

Lino and ref should have got that right earlier.
Nevertheless we need to replace Poku and Vale with two players with greater productivity |

Need to re-structure at half time - get into a 5-3-2 when they attack, with the full backs quick to come out |

I remain convinced that several of them would be better off being here, training and mixing with the first team, maybe being named as a sub now and again and playing regularly for the Devt Squad. |

I agree. Absolute shear class today, as always. A complete natural. Why have other teams overlooked him ? |

Great today but let's not forget that this time last week we were all saying we are going nowhere, the squad is not sufficient, same old, same old QPR etc etc. Let's not go overboard lads. |

Very good decision by JS to play Smyth up front today on that greasy pitch. Created the first two goals and would have created and scored more but for coming off. Ilemahyu also did well up there in that role when he came on for the last nine minutes. |

Not Going Out last night. So funny. How the hell does he find the time to do it all ? Are there three of him ? |

Loan window is closed now anyway - could only sign an emergency keeper or out of contract player |

What I find mildly amusing about all this is that we are now not a million miles away from JS's conjecture that we could have 8/9 players out injured and Kolli still won't get in if he's not giving 100% in training. Fingers crossed he still is otherwise it's Ridwan Hassan or Josh Wright on Saturday |

I feel the same. And loaning out decent U 21 players who have good fitness records and who have showed their value last season further makes me despair. 'QPR' - the definition of the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. |

Can't we cancel Morgan's loan to Bradford ? And Sanyaolu's with Bristol Rovers while are at it ? Neither of them are playing. What's the point in them being there ?
I was trying to think of any loanees we have had who we have left on the bench week after week. I couldn't think of one - even the sh*t ones like Federico Macheda, Matt Smith (the Manchester City one) and Modibo Maiga got games for us. |
