Who was the last owner of QPR who knew anything about footballl
at 21:31 25 Feb 2026

I'll give you Amit - but he was probably only in charge for a year, then Tone took over.

It's been a gentle downhill glide ever since. Gregory was around for about 10 years, that makes a big difference.

You need stability at the top to get anywhere, I'm afraid that the Hounslow Bus Stop Boys have shown us the way,

Jim Gregory.

The equation is - the more money they have - the less they know.

Hoopsa on the Southampton defeat
at 20:03 25 Feb 2026

He is spot on, on so many fronts, but there are no solutions.

Everyone is injured - and every player signed is at a lower price, because they already have an injury problem sewn on when they join .

I could take all these crap results, if they played in Dennis The Menace shirts away from home.

At least we'd win the sartorial cup. It's all we have left. That and the gallows humour - we're really good at that

A Hulluva Hard Game Match Thread
at 20:14 21 Feb 2026

I've never seen a side that wants to roll over and lose the game as easily as Hull did today. It took the R's 10 minutes to cross the halfway line. Hull seemed to give up straight after the own goal was scored.

It should have been six one. Kolli laid on a couple of beautifully weighted passes for Kone to mis-hit, Kolli was always showing for the ball and he also pressed the goalie when ever he had a chance. He suffers because other team members don't move for a pass from him I thought he played a really intelligent game today, I hope he gets selected again on Tuesday

Nathan Jones should be sectioned after his antics at the end of the Charlton vs Stoke game.

"A Suitable Case For Treatment~"

Makes Ollie look like Ghandi.

I'm watching Nathan Jones "manage" Charlton during their game against Stoke tonight.

He's chewing his nails so often that he'd have reached his armpits by the end of this season.

Where is Poku?
at 19:11 10 Feb 2026

Every time I see "Slightly Wonky Potatoes," "Slightly Wonky Sweet Peppers" and "Slightly Wonky Cucumbers" on sale at half price in Waitrose, I get reminded of our recruitment policy.

Why are they half the price of the real thing?

I recently bought some Poku Peppers and some Clark-Salter Cucumbers ...... but they didn't last more than a few days in the fridge.

That's why I buy them, use them or lose them.

Gavin Ward up to his old tricks, reffing the Blades vs Boro game

Or Charlton vs QPR, or Oxford vs QPR, or Stoke vs QPR?

It's a mind set for QPR not to want to try to win away from home that does all the damage

His first 20 minutes weren't good, early on he missed a similar "orange" tackle by a Boro midfielder which didn't even merit a foul and the crowd were on his back up to half time after that.

The game was so fast that I suspect he ran out of breath after that.

I think he had advice in his ear piece to send the Blades player off, shown by the delayed reaction on giving the red card.

I still think our Gavin is one of the worst for wanting to get involved for all the wrong reasons.

Boro' two nil up at half time. They look shit hot. Their midfield gets every 50/50 ball - and use it,

Fat Frank has got to be worried how, This lot look really up for it, full of running too.

As for Chris Wilder, couldn't happen to a nicer person ...

Guessing one decision after another, both sets of fans booing him. Missed a shocking stamp on the foot by the Boro defender.

Bet we get him again soon; he's rehearsing his worse decisions just for us.

Great game being screwed by an incompetent ref.

And Bamford throwing himself to the ground to claim ridiculous fouls, I can see a penalty coming his way soon. Ward will buy one

Alfie?

What’s it all about, Alfie?
Is it just for the moment we live?
What’s it all about- when you work it out, Alfie?
Are you meant to take more than you give?
Or are you meant to throw games away in added time? You DIV!

Derek Dougan from 1963 onwards.

The Doug played for Peterborough against the R’s in 1963, then Leicester in 1966; then for Wolves, Villa, Birmingham and he always seemed to score when playing against us.

Led the line really well. Like him a lot.

It wasn't gas he ran out of, it was support from management.

I don't know what has gone on in the background but this bloke has got real class and he loves scoring goals.

Those two strikes today were top draw. Two footed, good vision, looks around and glides into spaces. I hope he gets a decent run.

His goals per appearances must be pretty high already. Maybe one in three, including substitutions.. He also got two against Norwich this time last year. I'd like to see him - and Morgan - getting more games.

Does the management have an aversion to home grown talent?

Well, he gets knocked off the ball often enough to believe that he’s only 5 foot six inches tall.

Smyth, Dembele, Saito, Poku - all quick .... but ........ also one footed, five foot 6 inches, 10 stone, and therefore are - dead easy to knock off the ball- players -

We've signed them because no other club is looking to sign anyone with those Lilliput physiques and attributes.

That's plain daft, when there is also Chair ready to return. He is the one who has the same physique as the others but he is also the one player who has a real work ethic and skill.

People ask where does Chair fit in the team? Answer. He does , the others don't - bench warmers at best.

More poor recruitment. That is our real problem.
