I think age determines kit preferences. I think they're all rubbish after sponsors names were put on them.

The more serious problem will be the points deductions/fines/away fan bans when refs or opposition players get showered. As if that won't happen. |

The smaller the crowds, the less likely alcohol drunk during the game is to cause problems. But never mind celebratory flying beers, think how often we see something chucked on the pitch during games all over the place. Imagine what willl happen anywhere the first time a ref gives a shocker in front of an end full of people with plastic cups full of liquid. |

Couldn't tell from the West Paddock, but seeing it on TV, it looked a red all day long, regardless of what happened with the ball. He cleaned out the fella's legs and his studs were high. If someone had done that to one of our players, we'd have all thought it was a red, without exception, I suspect. |

I can't see us getting anywhere near the automatic spots. But eighth place? That's imaginable, and next season that's the play-offs. I'm not sure I'd call it a serious challenge, though, unless two-thirds of the division are mounting a serious challenge, because I guess that many will think they can reach eighth. |

My favourite bacon sandwich. Honestly, I know it sounds a faff but it adds two or three minutes to your sandwich and makes it so much better.
Guacamole - scoop out an avocado, mash in some finely chopped onion of whatever kind you've got, a bit of chilli, some fresh coriander, bit of oil and seasoning)
Tomato salsa - finely chopped fresh tomato, a bit of coriander, oil, salt, whatever else you fancy.
Bacon.
It's an upgraded BLT, and I promise the guac and salsa make the bacon sing.
I prefer streaky with these companions, but for a plain bacon sarnie I prefer back or middle. |
