It would have been better if the 'normal' commentator had the better microphone.

It was better without the shambles of a commentary.
Any chance of getting some money back if you bought a package from NLTV?? (joking!)

Dale Trust Meeting With WSH LLC

SG seems to be carrying out his role as a chairman in the same way as an airline pilot controls his aircraft, in other words, he doesn't operate as the member of a team.

I agree. As simply fans and supporters, we've 'been in the dark' about how the club is run since pre-Covid times and we're no better off now.

Our BOD seem to be adopting the 'mushroom' approach to management, i.e. keep everyone in the dark and pile **** on them occasionally.

Buying more shares?

I agree with TS about it being good leadership that's required in all areas, but we haven't had any since Chris Dunphy and Keith Hill. Currently, I would suggest we only have one open, honest dedicated leader, with commitment and integrity - Jim McNulty.

The area for clogmaking in Rochdale was Lowerplace, off Oldham Road/Kingsway/Queensway. Walking on the cobbled streets in clogs produced a painful slip (off a cobble) that made the hard leather top edge of the clog cut into the ankle and the ankle to turn over - this was called 'a cruckle'.

Sometimes, I wonder if 'the administration people' at the club attend matches and actually witness the goings on, with large away crowds, for themselves?

Ball hits ref
at 13:36 18 Sep 2023

I remember thinking at the time that the referee had done the 'drop ball' incorrectly. Barnet were give the ball and continued to mount an attack. However, my thoughts were that it was just another error amongst many by the referee. It says something when the official is booed off the field at full time after a good 4-2 win!!

Local Elections.
at 10:52 5 May 2023

I made a 'wasted' vote for Green - unable to vote for Conservative (pathetic nationally)
or Labour (pathetic locally). I don't vote in General elections because I don't like our political system, where it's only ever Conservative or Labour that can be in power. What's the point of other political parties being in existence at National level?

It's more a case of what he didn't do - e.g. make correct decisions.

"American nonsense" - not sure about that. 'Correct' spelling in the English language is difficult. I remember a child spelling "egog" for hedgehog and had to admit that it made sense, in the same way that 'program' makes sense as the spelling of programme.

After watching another poor performance, how I wish I hadn't bought another season ticket!! I'm trying to remember the last good performance, or game that I enjoyed. Now, on Thursday, do I go to Doncaster, watch on Ifollow or do some painting so that I can watch it dry??
