I must admit, when Carlisle went 1 up, I thought they would win the game, so for Woking to win 3-1 was a bonus that I did not expect. |

I know the away game at Eastleigh was ordered to be replayed, when it was 0-0, the home game against Wealdstone (I think) stood, when it was 2-1, but Wealdstone agreed to the result standing. But if you listen to McNulty he says "he doesn't know if the result stands or not and I hope it does", so even Jim is unsure what the National League Board will decide on what happens going forward. So until we get the decision from the league, we are all in the dark, I expect a replay personally. |

I read this rule on the internet, which stated FIFA, 'if a match is abandoned before the 75th minute, it's typically replayed in its entirety. If the abandonment occurs after the 75th minute, the competition's organising body has the discretion to either replay the match or to allow the score at the time of abandonment'. I also read this; If abandoned after a minimum elapsed time (often 70–75 minutes, but varies): Result at abandonment may stand as final. Governing body may order result to stand, or award result to one side (rare). Some competitions use a specific cutoff (e.g., Football Association county rules, some leagues use 75′; FIFA/IFAB recommend competition organisers define procedure). The National League is well known for making decisions that baffle football fans and the remark about Robshaker, who mentioned how many level five games were on, but he failed to mention that Bury's game at Shifnal was called off due to the weather. I agree, I am getting fed up with McNulty's interviews and how much he has gone through in his tenure as the Dale manager. I thought the pitch was holding water in the first half and it was obvious the game would not finish with the constant downpour, I do feel sorry for the Southend fans, in that they have visited Rochdale twice this season and the weather as intervened both times. I know some fans from other clubs have said we should have a points deduction or fine, I will ignore the comments from the Robshaker, (I won't mention that their game at Shifnal was also postponed). The fact is we spent thousands of pounds to get the game on and got to the 77 minute, so you cannot accuse the Dale of not making the effort to get the game on and completed. The question is and McNulty made a slight reference to it, will the 75 minute rule apply to the game, which could mean the league making us replay the game or the remaining 13 minutes or awarding the points to either team. Apparently McNulty did not want to risk Rodney on the artificial pitch, because he has a history of picking up muscle injuries on artificial pitches. However today was a good win and the results went in our favour as well, besides the Carlisle result. [Post edited 22 Nov 19:20]

I knew it would be a difficult game, with the squad York have, but I did not expect 4-1, but give credit to York, they are a quality team, did they also score 4 against Carlisle. Again why did he change the team with Berkoe and Smith starting, instead of McBride and Allarakhia, he does mention illnesses, but sometimes he does it for the sake of doing it? Does anyone know, what as happened to Levi? The positive is that we have two games in hand at home, with just two points behind Carlisle at the moment. The season will have a lot of twist and turns, but we need to get to winning ways against Aldershot, if it is on. As the Scunthorpe game been rearranged yet? |

if Carlisle win, we will be only 2 points behind with three games in hand, so it is a matter of picking up points with the games in hand. |

It is still a good point, which could be crucial next May and we may have hiccups this season, hopefully this just one of them, we dominated the game in terms of possession and had chances, but it was just one of those days. Hopefully we rest, if possible the majority of the team on Tuesday against United U-21 and with a free Saturday next weekend, it allows the team to have a rest and get people fit. Because if you look at the next five games, three are against sides in the playoffs. Scunthorpe (H), Boston (A), York (A), Aldershot (H) & Southend (H). But crucially we did not get beat and are still top, which can ensure the team can go into these games with a degree of confidence. |

According to the Hartlepool forum they have six managers in just two years and apparently nine in three years, which is absurd by anyone standards. [Post edited 13 Oct 13:06]

As stated previously, I agree I felt that York looked more motivated and deserved the win, and I was, like most fans was disappointed with the performance and being beat, but we can't win every game and we need to respond with a positive performance next week. Is Gordon suspended next week? |

I will give credit ti McNulty he picked a strong team, but the team as others have suggested lack urgency for most of the game. The first half was like a pre-season game, with sides showing no urgency at all. The second half was better and to be honest York look a good attacking team and Newby's first goal was exceptional, his attempt to provoke the fans afterwards was in bad taste. The subs introduced by the Dale improved the performance, but as others have implied it was to late in the game. Overall the performance was lacklustre in that we seemed to lack passion, appeared disjointed and casual, as if the game was not important. Yes, the league is far more important and I can understand taking Mani, Rodney and Barlow off to save them for next week game against Yeovil, but we could have earned a nice money earner against Bradford or Oldham for example. But as I have mentioned, York played well and defended with determination towards the end, so I hope they get a good tie in the first round and we can now focus on the league. |

Apparently it is an emergency loan according to Barnsley, which may suggest Myles is injured. |

There will be changes to this Saturdays team, with Whatmuff and Allarakhia on international duty, but will Berkoe and Amantchi be available, depending on Salford and Walsall decisions. So McNulty will be faced with forced changes, so the team selection could be interesting for York's visit. However we have a bigger and better squad this season. |

I have to agree, McNulty made the mistake of dropping EEL, Rodney and Berkoe from the starting eleven, which seem to unsettle and even made the team disjointed. As stated McBride and Barlow are similar players and looked tiny against some of the big buggers Halifax had, the changes also seem to isolate Mani, in that he needs somebody like Rodney next to him and on his own, it allowed Halifax to effectively mark out of the game in the first half. No more needed to added about Hogans limitations, in comparison to EEL. I will give McNulty credit, he recognise the mistakes by bringing on Rodney, EEL and Berkoe, on throughout the second half, which made us more competitive and allowed us to get back into the game, and we had the chances to get a equaliser in the second half. At least we are still second, with the chance to go top, if we beat Forest Green on Saturday and in truth the second half was a good game for the neutral and Halifax deserves praise for an excellent performance. The win at Carlisle was excellent and even fans on their forum state on how we were superior to them, we have two tough games this week, but I feel the season so far as given the whole club a buzz that I have not seen for sometime. Does anyone know how many fans we took to Carlisle. |

An excellent performance last night, we could have been five up at half time, with the chances we had. I felt we sat back when we went four up and allowed them to get into the game, which we cannot afford to do against Carlisle and Forest Green. It was nice to see East brilliant get the deserve the MoM award, but you could say that no one had a bad game for the Dale last night, Gilmour deserves special credit not only for last night, but overall his performances this season as been excellent. A very enjoyable night. [Post edited 24 Sep 8:54]

The game was poor and no disrespect to Truro, but they are a poor side, who we made them look good in the second half by our negative pass it backwards walking football. We looked disjointed and disorganised at times, and Manni's yellow card was disappointing, I don't know if the performance was due to the Dale flying down, if I correct on the Saturday or McNulty tactical decisions and preferred football style. At least it was a win and points on the board. With Manni missing, I would start with Hendo up front with Rodney, having said that McBride did okay when he came on. [Post edited 14 Sep 15:31]

If Manni got a yellow card against Truro, would he not miss the national league cup against Blackburn, which I belief is on Tuesday or do these games not count in terms of suspensions. |

A good result today,I was worried that it would be a difficult game, but to win 3-1 and from all accounts, we could have got more, is a good sign. Yes we will have difficult games coming up, but winning 6 out of 7 (thanks to the debacle at Brackley) gives the team confidence. It is sad news about Pritchard injury, lets hope it is only short-term, but thankfully, I would like to think our squad is capable of covering any injuries, unlike last season. |
