I have a feeling that when we went there earlier this season, the Cutlers Arms didn't open until midday.

So the timings wouldn't work, I fear.

"Two thirds of the squad wanted to leave in the summer"

It feels like he is preparing himself for his end of season performance review meeting with Ankersen and Kraft, and he is giving us a sneak peek of the sort of nonsense he will be feeding them with.

We should be honoured really.

I rather like the cut of Slick Rick's jib.

I mean, why would anybody want to sign a keeper just for the purpose of keeping the ball out of the net?

He has a £1 million release clause apparently. As no-brainers go, it's pretty high up the tree.

And so the PR bullshit begins.

I think I'm done with this bloke.

He just talks absolute drivel, gets his excuses in early.

That's Brighton Buddha, not Alfie House......

He talks everyone up.

Loses its effect after a while.

Bump.

Not only is he a top keeper, he’s a top bloke as well.

Get him in, Saints.

He would be the next Antti Niemi.

We are contractually committed to buy Harwood-Bellis if we get promoted.

Otherwise he returns to City.

You are in for pelters on here for suggesting that Qu’est ce que c’est (Perraud) was one of our best players last season.

If you can find a buyer for Sulemana I would suggest you should be tasked with selling ice to eskimos, sir.

Saints Announce Ticket Pricing Information For Play Off Semi Final
at 13:00 2 May 2024

Just bought the seats for myself and my daughter.

It's not exactly practical the way they have set it up if you want to buy seats for multiple ST holders.

You have to go into "Friends and Family Reserved Tickets" and then by default they have ticked all your eligible Friends and Family for tickets, which comes out at a scarily high Cart total.

You then have to untick everybody you don't want to buy a ticket for.

I also note it is paper tickets only, which are either to be posted or collected at the ticket office. No Print at Home option.

Good job there are 2 weeks until the game, but I bet a load still arrive late in the post.

All a bit messy, in summary.

I had been led to understand that Block 46 was originally going to be something of an exclusive preserve for a more refined type of supporter (obviously not including myself), with a bit of refuge from the plebs elsewhere in THE WALL, but it has more recently become infiltrated by one or two less refined types .

Judging by Ankersen’s comments in today’s Echo, we won’t be spending much.

Should Russell Martin Put Out Another Reserve Side For Leeds United Trip
at 13:24 1 May 2024

Leeds have a 1% chance of automatic promotion, which forces them to play their strongest side.

We could get a bit of a gubbing if we play the kids.

But then we arguably played our strongest side at Leicester....

<Refers to Transfermarkt>

They have both scored 7 goals in the League since the start of February.

Che has also scored a couple in the Cup but I thought it was an established principle on this forum that Cup goals don’t count 😉

(But then imagine if we had the goals of them both combined since February instead of having to rely on Mara as back-up…..)

Predicted League table for next season
at 07:38 1 May 2024

I tipped both Sunderland and Middlesbrough to go up as I watched quite a few of their games last season and they really impressed me.

However, they both (particularly Boro) were to a degree reliant on loan players which they didn’t adequately replace this season.

Which has some resonance for Saints if we don’t go up, seeing where Sunderland and Boro have finished this season.
