The guy is young adapting to a new country. We are going to be in a dog fight for the 2 spots to go down.
Widel is class but managing game time is important the schedule is intense and fitness levels are key. He is still growing I think it is probably more of a sport science choice than a sporting one.
People if you are reading the thread can you throw some goals in here. I want to do a poll at the end of it to decide the top 3 Swans goals. Also just seeing the Swans score is always a lift.
Seeing our prem goals brings a tear to my eyes sometimes looking at how lucky we were. We have been spoilt since that James Thomas keeping us up hat trick. Some of the very best have worn our shirt.
Any goals that deserve a shout out please can you get them in here.
I don’t want to do a thread with just me off on one using all of Keith’s server space 😜
Check this out from another player who didn’t quite make it for some reason. You are spot on with the Jonjo comparison but Boddes injury will always leave him in the category of could have been fantastic. With jonjo he always had the next Steven Gerrard milestone around his neck also didn’t care enough to be great. He got the England call up and everything, But then you only got to think of the Oxford fa cup game to get an idea on how professional he was. I don’t ever think I have seen a player that couldn’t be arsed to play as much to be honest mate, He was built up and it got to the lads head. Shame really. When I think shelvey I think 50 yard passes that would land on a 5p coin. When you think bodde dam he could hit it. Look at the next clip for a great example of a player with potential that never really made it.
