I guess we don’t bother with the ‘must play minimum of 50% of games’ clauses in our outbound loan deals and just comply with the inbound stipulations.
Desperate or stupid - maybe both.
WTF are we going to do with him in the summer ? Send him off, hand in hand with Nardi, Field and other ‘undesirables’ ? |

What about if you change the manager for a coach but none of the other coaches work for him directly ?
It appears to be the same outcome on the surface, but it’s a slightly different construct this time.
Throw the DoF role into the mix and it becomes even more problematic for the ‘head coach.’
IMO, we have a ‘Coach without portfolio’ and I don’t think that’s really sustainable. |

Rotten in Soton…..
Basically we bin these games off like we do with cup games, except there’s another one just around the corner if you lose so less jeopardy, unless relegation looms.
Meantime, you kill the most consistent player to death in the process, despite having clear indicators from previous games that there’s a high likelihood of injury.
Lucky we didn’t lose another player last night but we will before the season is done snd it’s likely to be Kone if we keep this up. |
