I agree with the original poster’s sentiment that you always want more of a good thing. Everyone would love to have a genuine 10+ goal a striker and we might have two on our hands. Chances and goals seem to have come easier to Rumarn for a multitude of reasons but I have faith that Kone will get there too (and that’s not to say i’m not already loving him). |

Of course, you’re absolutely entitled to your view and to disagree with others. But i think that of what you mention, ‘what he does and doesn’t say’ is a very fair criticism that those who criticise, make. Firstly because that’s a critical part of the job description and secondly because there is some very fair criticism to make of the way that he has personally and as part of the organisation put information across. |

Positives to take, Walsh looked solid, Dunne had a standout defensive performance. I thought Adamson showed sparks of promise. Negatives, well it was pretty awful going forward and the teams could have just shaken hands and saved us all the 90 minutes. |

I’ll be hearing that noise in my dreams for years. |

On a different note… Really liking the refereeing in the Sheff Utd - Ipswich game. Letting the game flow and as a result there’s some breakneck play and entertainment. You don’t often praise championship referees so I felt like it’s worth saying when there’s some praise to be had! |

Unfortunately i don’t doubt he won’t. Probably in his head this is our fault for not backing the team well enough after the first few goals. This obsession with a long term project, with development, missing the basics like fcking match fitness, never his fault, always someone elses. Availability top notch, plymouth game a great learning opportunity. Pay your cash to watch your club collapse and be happy, because he’s ‘cooking’ |

While it isn’t a factor in the result here, another weak as piss referee who’s not keen to make a single decision he might face opposition to or let a game develop. Early as the first 10 minutes he was blowing for a misplaced throw in by about three yards. |

Need to make this like Watford last season now and get another in the next 10-15 to take the wind out their sails. Not sure the kids are going to be quite as adept at it though. [Post edited 12 Aug 2025 20:57]

Hope, hope will tear us apart again. 2-0. Burrell to score. Although i’ve put a mad 4-2 in the prediction league so I can’t even settle my own mind |

My jaw dropped when I heard that. Not even the leg that was suffering for her this game. |

A word for Hannah Hampton. Can’t believe someone could take up the mantle so seamlessly from Earps |

Strikes me that Dembele is excellent but we can’t train him to be taller. So we do need him at the top of his game (and the top of the class) dribbling, spatial awareness etc. |
