The hard drugs are dangerous though arn't they. As far as I am aware, you can't make them safe for people to use when they want. How do you regulate them? I can go and buy 5 packets of ibuprofen which is regulated, sold in shops and not follow the guidance. These hard drugs are highly addictive. Do we really want to make highly addictive, potentially dangerous drugs easily available for anyone to buy? There could be a lot of misuse and deaths. How many would go in a shop and buy a few pills for a night out and not follow the guidance, mix it with drinks and lose their life? How many people feeling down, could freely buy a few hard drugs to make them feel better? I agree that there does need to be a sensible, grown up discussion about drugs use, those who are already addicted, those who need them for medical reasons etc, canabis being less dangerous according to evidence but legalisation of all drugs, which could create a nation of drug addicts and unwanted deaths, I am totally against. Plus if everything is regulated, how many drugs addicts will still try to get access to more than they are allowed to have legally? If you are told you can legally have x amount, that might not be enough for some, and they will seek more illegally. [Post edited 28 Feb 9:00]

But that could cause a lot of problems couldn't it? "If you want it, have it". So how many people will be having these really hard, dangerous drugs who wouldn't normally consider having it? Students having a party at University, being offered drugs legally by their friends or by just buying them in a shop and they think "Well, it's legal so who cares I will try it". You could end up with lots of people, who would never dream of going down that dark road of getting illegal drugs on the black market, but might try it if it's legal. How many deaths will there be? How many will become addicted to drugs as if it's like buying alcohol in a pub or shop? I understand the need to stop the illegal drug dealing going on, but not sure it's a good idea that anyone can drugs whenever they want, because the hard drugs in particular are very dangerous, much more so than alcohol. Would you want anyone in your family legally buying really dangerous drugs because they are depressed or want a fun night out? I wouldn't. [Post edited 28 Feb 0:40]

Wasn't even aware that Still had all these brothers looking to be a manager to be honest! 2 wins in 3 games at Watford for the other Still, it's a lot better record than.our Will, so yeah we.pronably appointed the wrong one. But as you say, very happy with Tonda. |

Draw would have been better, but Watford winning only puts them one point ahead. Had Bristol City won, they would have been further ahead. So not a bad result. [Post edited 27 Feb 21:59]

It's an interesting proposal, but does that mean if a few of us fancied a bit of cocain at the football, they can legally get it from the pharmacy or doctors? Fans really high at games? Making it legal, what does that actually mean? Legal just for those addicted or people can be walking around the streets high? Not sure hard drugs being legal is a good idea. Not so sure. They still got 2nd in a place that has always been Labour. People want change, and are lashing out voting for extreme right and extreme left parties. Green party 1st, Reform 2nd in an area where Labour normally wins easily. The local elections will be an earthquake of people saying they are angry and want change. Greens and Reform will sweep the floor of the major parties, who people have had enough of. Life doesn't work for them and this was the same way before Brexit. That was also a protest vote to say "We want change, now". [Post edited 27 Feb 14:06]

Interestingly, in a Labour voting area, a left leaning area, Reform got 2nd. Does that suggest that Reform will certainly get voted for, in many right leaning areas? Ultimately, do your job Starmer and get things done, that people want done. [Post edited 27 Feb 13:53]

The game is next Saturday isn't it. Be difficult to release tickets say next Thursday, 2 days before the game, unless they don't want to sell the whole end. [Post edited 27 Feb 13:17]

Why not the full 1700 so that we have the whole end? [Post edited 27 Feb 12:46]

As I said, many people were losing before the Brexit vote, so it's not just Brexit is it? Many people in poor areas voted for Brexit too, not just rich people. They were struggling then before Brexit, and nothing has changed, hence the sudden popularity of the Green party. [Post edited 27 Feb 11:54]

The Greens are appealing to certain types of people, who are fed up of struggling, can't afford a house, can't pay the bills, fed up of being told what to do by ungrateful, selfish bossess, in many cases, earning nowhere near enough to cover all the bills. And for those blaming Brexit, just remember that people were struggling way before the vote to leave and many struggling people voted for it, because they were fed up of being ignored. And after Brexit, these people are still being ignored, the towns continue to close down, drugs, knife crime feeling overwhelming, immigration a mess, people are looking for a solution to issues that under Labour and the Tories just don't get solved. But yes, it is ironic that a 36 per cent Muslim area, has voted for a party with a gay leader, who thinks that women can have c@cks. It really is a mad world at the moment. [Post edited 27 Feb 11:38]

There will be a hung parliament if either or both of the main parties don't get their act together. It definitely could be a "mess". Reform will win in most of the Conservative supporting areas. Greens will win in the Labour supporting areas. Liberal Democrats will also take some seats. |

It just seems really quiet and even silent at times. The passion at Birmingham, Millwall with fans in all 3 sides of the ground fiercely supporting their team, is a totally different place. So many of our fans just sit there in silence and even when the Northam sings, it's not very fierce. It's a slow version of oh when the Saints, like it's being sang at church, hence you can't hear it at the other end. It's not fierce enough. Moving the away fans has destroyed the atmosphere. I can see a group of Saints fans at the top.of the Chapel next to the away fans, maybe about 50 people? The rest of the block is empty in most games. It's like nobody wants to be there. I can imagine the banter between those 50 or so fans next to the away support being fun, but it's really quiet in the stadium. Can you hear the Northam from where you are? [Post edited 25 Feb 23:37]

That's true and I suspect at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, the Saints fans will be excellent, and we will dominate Hillsborough. But St Mary's is really quiet at the moment, and yet we have recently been getting excellent results. The Chapel is sparse with empty seats everywhere especially in the block next to the away fans, and do they ever sing over there? |

It looks like we can realistically catch Wrexham and Hull, but no way we are catching Millwall, 9 points ahead, or Ipswich who are 7 ahead with 2 games in hand. Hull are 7 points ahead of us, which seems like a mountain to climb, although as you say, they are playing some of the other playoff teams, so could lose a couple of games. Wrexham are the only team we have left to play, apart from Ipswich but have discounted them. So we can in theory beat Wrexham at their place to be one point behind. I think we can get 6th, but it will be very difficult. We need two wins, whilst Wrexham lose two, and then we play them away. All possible, but difficult. |

What is annoying about crowds is that in the PL, evening games were sell outs and some tickets in the stadium were £80 each. We also got thrashed every week. They can make the games then? Unfortunately, because we are only playing QPR, even season ticket holders don't bother turning up, I am a season ticket holder and haven't missed a single game. It is annoying that, especially when Saints are winning games, people can't be bothered to go. We seem to have a good 25 thousand loyal fans, and the rest disappear when it's cold, it's on TV or when we arn't playing a top team. As Nick says, it disappointing when there 30k plus for PL evening games. And with so many empty seats, and since the away fans were moved, the atmosphere is really poor. Every away team is chanting "library" and the sparse fans next door sit there and do nothing. Although, it did get quite loud at 4 and 5 nil yesterday. [Post edited 25 Feb 23:23]

And again, to think Will.Still never played this lad. Tonda has done a brilliant job making changes in personnel, tactics and the motivation in these lads now. |
