I did enjoy the match yesterday. Lincoln were good value and I hope they stay up. We could be a bit more direct like them on occasion too - loved their attack when the keeper booted it to their player who took a shot. Proper old school vibes. |

Great to win but we were not very good. Fair play to Lincoln - if Charles doesn't make that save at 1-1, they could have won. Chair is such a lovely player - we will miss him when he's gone. |

20 months since we won a game with more possession, which is wild (although I do think that will change on Saturday). Clearly a big failing though.
I know he is limited in terms of who is available but I agree he does seem rigid in terms of his approach - i.e. the way we are set up at home against teams we dominate and fail to beat, losing the midfield contest at both Birmingham and Southampton. It's all a bit Groundhog Day. |

The manager has not found a way to win with more possession since 4th February 2025. That's pretty shocking tbh, particularly in an age of data analytics. Surely that changes on Saturday? |

I'd like Illy to start. Obviously I'm basing that on him being fit enough to make the bench and play briefly on Saturday but with our performance team who knows what 'fit' is and what it isn't.
But based on old school fitness, it would be nice for him to play given Madsen being injured and Vale being nondescript. |

They must have thought Alfie was fit because Kolli was sitting on the bench too, so why would you put a half-fit player on when you're 3-1 down with 15 minutes left?
West Ham - Lamptey is made of glass so not much you can do IMO.
Derby - I suppose they could have put JCS or Morrison on instead of Mbengue and moved the defence around. The match was over anyway. Again, one assumes he was considered to be fully fit despite the heavy strapping on his knee.
Birmingham - Kone scores a 15-minute hat trick in the next game so who bloody knows. |

I genuinely don't know what his role in the side is. Every other player I can see what they are supposed to be doing, even if they have a poor game. Vale, I just do not have a clue. |
