So Cifuentes ?
at 12:34 15 Dec 2025

Fck him. Spent most of his time here trying to get away, so couldn't give a toss about him.

I clapped Dykes as the bloke, though a bit rubbish, always gave 100%. And you can't ask for more than that.

Now, if Tyler Roberts returned.......

January transfer rumours
at 10:39 15 Dec 2025

Game model is possession based, build out from the back, CDs need to be able to step into midfield.

JCS and Edwards do that better. Not sure we'll sign him anyway.

Fearsomely in-form Boro too hot for QPR to handle – Report
at 06:54 15 Dec 2025

Thanks for the report. I'm definitely in the first camp, in that we made it way to easy for them.

If you're going to lose then make the opposition work for it, make them feel they were in a game. It was a training session for Boro and they never got out of 2nd gear.

An opportunity missed to make a statement and seemed to me to be a little arrogant from JS to think we could setup like that and come away with something.

Frustrating and disappointing.

If Ronnie Edwards was signed it won't be JCS being dropped, it'll be Dunne.

Gaffer on today's defeat
at 16:24 14 Dec 2025

Not sure that's really fair. I think we would have lost regardless of formation etc, but we should make it as difficult as possible for the opposition.

Personally I think JS got it wrong and should have gone three in midfield, something pointed out in Clives pre match writeup.

If its a loan with option to buy then definite yes, if not then don't bother.
I think his contract expires in 2026, but don't hold me to that.

Slowly improving.
at 07:04 14 Dec 2025

Overall yes we have improved, but it is all immaterial if the teams CM isn't good enough. The club must address this in the summer if they are to take the next step.

Boro are the perfect example of where QPR can be in a years time if they get the recruitment right.

That was very preventable. Way, way to open, and we let them do what they wanted.

I can accept a lose, and Boro were better than us today, but make it a nasty, horrible victory for them where their fans go away thinking they got away with one.

We should feel a little disappointed and let down by that.

Being way to generous to the opposition. Go there, keep it tight, sh!thouse, be aggressive and make it horrible.

It's the first game I've watched and wondered if JS and the coaches had actually watched the opposition before.
We know their CM is good, we know they use their ST to go wide and isolate the FB. We know they love the cross field/inside ball.
Load the CM, drop the FBs in and use Burrells pace on the break for 70 minutes.

It does appear a little arrogant to go there and think we can just play the way we want, especially with our CM.

Really disappointing as we gave ourselves no chance before a ball had been kicked.

Good play, but good defending.

I'd agree on this occasion, there is no excuse, however I think this one is on JS rather than the players.
Going there and playing two up top is suicide, it should been 1 up with a 3 man CM to at least try and cover the switched diagonal pass and block the passing lines (see 2nd goal).

Biggest concern is Varane. He has been really poor all season. Should have grabbed that purported £5m.

Really really poor from Paul Smyth, twice he took the wrong option and the 2nd led to the goal.

I think JS has got this badly wrong though. As Clive said in his pre match write up about putting the extra CM in and having one up top. Disappointing.

To open in midfield, full backs way to high getting caught.

No excuses today about travel, or less rest than the opposition. Boro were in Charlton Tuesday, so all square on that front.

A straight shoot out, though I think Boro will win this, but we appear to be heading in the right direction.

Well, here are the QPR U16s on recent trip to Egypt for a tournament.
A trip to the pyramids, 5 thousand years of history, wonder of the ancient world, the cradle of civilisation.
And then you have the youngster bang slap in the middle of the photo.

Nah, I'll see what's going on on Tik Tok. Youth is wasted on the young.

QPR full of festive cheer, but is Boro after the Lord Mayor’s show? Preview
at 09:09 13 Dec 2025

Agree, we are starting to get glimpses of what QPR will be like under JS. It's a season to early to get excited about playoff pushes etc, but the evolution of the team and style is very welcome after the long slog of previous seasons.
The last three home games could be a turning point for this squad in terms of them showing their resilience, both physically and mentally.

This is probably a game to far though, but we need to see a good performance.

Perfectly captured the whole night and that mad last 5 minutes, but my God, this club does like to put us through it.

Just remember those scenes and atmosphere when we go to West Ham and their soulless bowl.

Who wants to go up anyway?

Er, anyone who doesn't want to watch Preston Knob End, Stoke, Blackburn, the list goes on and on.

I'm sick of this shyte league. If we want the club to survive for another 100 odd years we need to be up in the PL for a good few years lke we were in the 70s, 80s and early 90s.

Fck the Championship.

I'd differentiate between coaching and making a mistake, which Norwich was.

Personally I think he is better than MC. Look at Leicester, boring to watch.
