Any rumours doing the rounds of us being in for him? Was told by a mate today to put money on it as he reckons someone from back home has text him the goss... Most likely rubbish

Am I right in thinking the 25 man squad regulations are waived in Jan? If so do you think we'll see Luke Young return to the fold?

Manager merry-go-ground
at 12:17 31 May 2012

It's been great viewing the last couple of weeks. With the benefit of hindsight I'm glad the board moved when they did to appoint Hughes. Even if we kept Warnock and stayed up I think he'd have retired and we'd be up sh*t creek without a paddle in trying to appoint a manager of Hughes' calibre.

It's a weird feeling not having to worry about things and looking forward to a no nonsense per-season... Not very QPR like is it?!

Cant help but think a few will be shed regardless of what happens tomorrow.

My nerves are shot, I can't talk properly and it's only bloody Saturday!

Thank me later
at 17:26 31 Mar 2012

Tonight I made the executive decision to miss the game. The two games I've missed this season we beat everton and Liverpool.

For the greater good I decided to stay out tonight and celebrate into the night after the mighty Fremantle beat Geelong... It hurt me but I feel it paid off.

Question is now... Do I watch another game this season?

The if you could change football thread...
at 07:57 9 Mar 2012

Bored sh!tless at work... Thought i'd see how everyone would change the game for the better if they had the power. Personally i'd like to see some of the below;

1.) I think introducing a salary cap would be too problematic when you consider all the international leagues. It would be easier to introduce a wage ceiling, most likely anchored in euro's or USD that no player can be paid above. This would negate any future market distortion from clubs such as city, scum, real madrid, psg et al.

2.) Players transfer fees should also have a ceiling. Say something like 300% of the remaining value of their contract.

3.) Players to not be able to sign contracts longer than 3 years (if i was a footballer i'd take the guardiola route and only sign 1 year contracts... gives you flexibility and empowers your choices).

4.) Follow the rugby path and allow no players to approach the referee. The game is ridiculous now with all the moaning. Automatic yellow for anyone that approaches the ref or assistant that isn't the captain.

5.) Post match punishments for diving. If it's not caught during the game a punishment should still be given. It's bringing the game into disrepute.

6.) Goal line technology. Footballs worth too much these days to allow human error to cost promotion, relegation etc:

Any other ideas? Fantasy really. Fun nonetheless.

Another 4 Year Plan Thread - Sorry
at 01:55 18 Jan 2012

First of all my apologies for starting another thread.

Finally got the dvd in the mail the other day and sat down with the old man last night and watched it.

One question...

Who is the Clunge repeatedly shouting "we love you Flavio" when the orange man is requesting names of the people that boo him? Complete, total w@nker whoever he was. Hope he was embarassed when he saw that footage.

If it was my money...

I'd have probably sacked Warnock too.

Recent results and performances didn't exactly inspire confidence. I wouldn't give somebody who was (let's be honest) underperforming however million pounds are available to spend... It just makes sense... Sadly.

Hope whoever the new manager is has some/any idea with regards to set pieces.

QPR Direct - Purchases from the online store
at 13:09 5 Jan 2012

Just a quick one.

Has anybody ever placed an order on the online store and had an email the following day asking for confirmation before your bits are sent?

The sending email isn't a qpr address so i've just replied "scam".

Maybe QPR are getting bigger if fraudsters are now trying to cash in on us.

Hope i'm right anyway, otherwise i'll have to reorder.

Any lawyers on here?
at 12:43 5 Nov 2011

If so, can you please explain to me mutual combatant law (if in existence in the uk).

had a bit of a messy breakup, with the ex smashing up the apartment, witholding money, stealing things (car keys amongst many others, toothbrush included).

anyway been cleaning out our apartment, took a few things round and asked for my keys back. her dad comes tearing out the side of the house with a wrench. runs at me like a mad man. i swooped down and put him on the ground and did no more, whilst he tried to bite my thumb off and struck me multiple times with the wrench. had to go to hospital for a tetanus injection and concussion.

turns out the weak sh*t, has gone to the police and told them that i assaulted him. i've got witnesses and the like, but apparently if i press charges against him and he against me then it falls under mutual combatants. police officer said that if i'm found innocent then so will he by default?!

somehow doesnt seem right.

going to speak to a few people tomorrow to see options, just hoping there's somebody on here that can point me in the right direction.

cheers.

Haven't seen anyone else mention it (still could be wrong).

Fernandes mistakenly wrote Fritz Hall in one of his tweets. Made me giggle somewhat. So very apt.

Do you think he cried or atleast had to have a little sit out when he got his tattoos?

Did anyone explain to him tattoos are somewhat synonomous (not so much these days... even i have a few) with toughness?

It's embarassing a bloke with neck tat's acting like a tart the whole time!
