I would say I accept that players need rest by why the cup games rest and rotate for the league games. Which i understand we did at the Norwich game ? Yes some players are better as subs Smyth ect by why rest for the cup games. Also if you think improvement in medical technology in dealing with and preventing injuries you clearly have been lucky and not seen the vast steps that the health service have made in this country let alone at a football club that will send all players private. There is a time and place to.rest players and that might be at half time today if we getting spanked but start with your best end off.

Ps I that reply was for another post fat fingers small phone !!! Maybe I need 2 weeks off !!

2 weeks off for what the mighty important crunch game at stoke ? Its beem shown that it makes little or know difference and can hinder a team. Players need to play not. Part of it is being up for it passion and the cup should inspire that. The chance of another fa cup round against a Premier club at home even we could get chelsea at home and give them a French farmers welcome. Either way we could still go out and lose to stoke

Saying that the kids of thebwhite city could put a greyhound to shame and the tea lady at LR is a midfield general with a crunching tackle so you never know

I see what you are highlighting but i do think there are a proportion of sick notes and thespian players out there today. Are you preparing us for a weak team selection of a mix of the dev squad,a couple of local kids of the white city estate and the tea lady at LR ? Because I am not sure the 9k will buy the line that modern footballers have it tougher. They have better medical, diet, living conditions (due to wages ) and generally dont smoke or drink like the yesterday players. They may play more football? but I dont think they play as tougher games remember when you were allowed to really tackle when it was a art to win the ball firmly but fairly.

The rumours are that Palace may have given their share of gate receipts to Macclesfield as welll as giving them a easy route through to the 4th round

I think you miss the point of un earthing quality players in lower leagues like we have done rather than spending 4.5 million on one player even if he is handsome

Sorry my point was that I actually think this is not part of our remit and it reminds me.of the warb spend up. I think we don't need him. We have younger ones to blood. For 4.5 mil we could have had several like burel or kone yoing but cheap.

Yes hut 4.5 mil is a huge risk for us this stinks of the warbs spend up when which we have just recovered from hooe he not just a nice playing loan that had some form with us. Personally dont think we needed him, we could have got a lot of lower level players for that and in my opinion we have done well with that. Think I have an adverse reaction to us blowing loads of money on a player. The financial situation is very important at this club. Just have repeatedly seen this go tit's up for us. This might quieten the fans when they roll out the under 15s on sinday and phone in another cup game . Hope i am wrong

Not sure he keeping with the system of buy cheap sell high. Do we need him ? The clubs financial situation is not great. What do I know. That's just such a lot of money for us to spend on one player will he upset the team we have here ? Decent when in have seen him and have read very positive reports. We do need to sure up the leaky defense, is a positive step. Hope it works out.

With out our injuries and habbit/addiction to picking a weakend team then i say no. It would be nice if we picked our strongest team and really went at them. A tight first half would heap pressure on them. If we pick a weak team then it's a pi ss take. Has anyone ever looked at the performances after losing a cup game with a weaker team ?? Bet it not great ?

I thought we might have had a reasonable chance but the latest injuries have been a big set back imo. Hope for them lucky enough to get tickets that we A/PLAY THE STRONGEST TEAM B/ have a real go at them it could spark our season. C/ PLAY THE STRONGEST TEAM
if we do this can ask for no more. Also a cavy act dont lose by more than 6. Hope it's a cracker for all that going. Still really enjoy the FA cup long memory

Two home games against the bottom two - Six points ???

You mean charity park rangers ? No way six points 4 is a nice return. We are one thing and that ia consistently inconsistent. Always tend to lose these ones but lets see.
